These Things Take Time.

Chapter 14

"Hey Niall."

"Hi. It's great to hear your voice." His voice was a little scratchy, I guess he just woke up.

"It's good to hear your's." I smiled.

"What are you up to? Are you okay." He yawned. The image of the little girl and the brunette went through my mind. What was I going to do? Am I supposed to stop talking to a Niall? "Jasmine?"

"Oh sorry. I was um..."

"Is everything okay over there?"

"Yeah. I just... I just woke up." I let out a nervous laugh.

"Oh, did I...Im sorry I will call yo-

"No. No. I want to talk to you." I laugh to assure him its okay.

"Okay." We talked about his concerts since New York. The people, the fans, the sights. He really had an amazing life. Traveling around the world, doing what he loves to do, I hope he knows how lucky he is. Im sure he does.

"So..what do you have planned for the next couple of days?" His soft voice soothes me.

"Well. I....I don't really know." My heart begins to pound.

"Oh. I just...wanted to know if maybe you would like to go out and maybe have some dinner?" He gulps. I just smile and slowly speak,

"I would love that." My cheeks begin to hurt from smiling too hard.

"Really?" I can imagine his sweet smile.

"Honest. What day were you wanting to.."

"Umm..Possibly the 20th? I have a concert on the 21st and 22nd. But I can put in some time on those days if you are busy on the 20th."

"The 20th is perfect." I giggle a little.

"That's great! I can't wait!" He cheers. "I mean...*cough cough* yeah....Well, I will let you have some rest, don't want to keep you up all night."

"Is only." I turn to look at the oven clock. "10:30. Oh." Wow how long have we been in the phone, it only felt like 5 minutes. Then again hours are like minutes when I talk to him. "Okay, Ill let you rest up too. You've had a busy week." I laugh.

"Yeah..it's been crazy....." He sighs. "Goodnight Jasmine. Sleep well."

"Goodnight Niall. Sleep tight." I smile and hang up. My heart melts when he says my name, his accent makes it all the better. I jump and clap but realize how ridiculous I am being. He's just a guy well just a guy who stole my heart. I can't wait for the date. I ran towards the fridge and looked at the calendar. If today is the 16th, then there are 1,2,3..four more days! Perfect, just enough time to spend time with the fam and get ready for the date. Ugh. It's 10:42. I'm not even tired but I know if I stay awake I will be cranky tomorrow. I walked over to my room and flopped on the bed. After staring at the wall for 10 minutes I got up to change into PJs. Once I was all snuggled into my bed, I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep. Only 5 minutes passed and I was getting angry that I couldn't go back to sleep. I wasn't tired..I guess all the excitement from talking to Niall kept me wide awake.

I'm wide awake........... Im wide awake.

I stared at a blank TV for a few seconds. Maybe a little TV will put me to sleep. I clicked on the TV and a show popped up. Entertainment tonight. A news show running this late? Do they run this late? I pressed info and sure enough it was from a couple a days ago. I decided to watch a movie when I heard a familiar name. I turned up the volume.

"Niall Horan with a new gal?" Ugh..... "Caught with a girl a few weeks ago, fans are going crazy. Some happy...and some....well not so happy. Take a look." Pictures of tweets of fans pop up on the screen of how they want me to stay away from him and other are happy for him. Im not even dating him...well I mean I guess Im going on a date with him but its not like we are in a solid relationship. I would love it but its only been 3 weeks. "So Niall keep your fans informed that you still love them hahaha.." 'HAHAHAHA' what an annoying laugh... "Lady gaga...." I changed the channel. I actually like Lady gaga. I dont want to hear them conplain or gossip. A movie was playing....Saving private ryan.....Havent seen this movie. Then again I havent really seen any

movie. I pull out my phone.

*Hey Ness, is Saving Private Ryan a worth watching movie?*

Within seconds I get a text back.

*YES! Well its my opinion but yessssssss I cant believe you are asking me this.*

I roll my eyes and text back.

*You know I havent seen a lot of movies....calm yo face.*

I sit my phone dowon my forehead and wait for the vibration. Less than a minute it buzzes.

*You give my brain a headache. Haha. Anyways its late....ish. Goodnight.*

*Goodnight. See you tomorrow.* Send. I throw my phone of the other side of the bed and lay my head back. I watch the movie for about 30 minutes until I eventually shut my eyes to fall asleep.
