Luke never got a reply. He couldn't understand why Jem was so pissed off at him. He didn't do anything wrong or at least he didn't realize he did. Although he was pretty sure he hadn't sent anything offensive he checked their previous texts and confirmed everything was great the day before. He really couldn't understand.

He lied back on his bed once again because, since it was saturday he was still in bed. Was he hungry? Yes. Was he too lazy to get up? Yes.

He sighted and set his phone on his nightstand. The fact that Jem was mad saddened him. It may seem stupid but Luke was used to talk to her daily now. If he didn't speak to her the day didn't seem complete. 

He sighted and hoped that somehow she'd stop being mad and text him.

Sadly, that didn't happen.
