This was it. Today was the day. Jem and Luke were finally gonna meet each other. Actually meet each other. They were both incredibly nervous but so, so excited.

Jem was alredy at the park. She was waiting for Luke, sitting on a bench. She couldn't stop thinking they were gonna meet face to face for the very first time. Finally. She was gonna hug luke and be held by him.

She was a bundle of nerves and a mix of emotions and she just needed Luke. He was all in her mind. Luke Luke Luke Luke Luke. Nothing but Luke, everything about Luke.

Princess, 2:35pm: i think i can see you

Jem blushed because she probably looked like an idiot sitting alone in a park bench but smiled thinking Luke was that close to her.

"Jem!" she heard someone scream and directed her eyes to where it came from. It was him.

Her smile grew wide and she ran towards the blonde that was running as well.

They were so happy, so excited, so-- In pain?

"Luke what the fuck?!" she screamed once her bum hit the ground and he moaned in pain in front of her.

Yup, they bumped into each other. And not just a normal bump: he hit her fucking forehead with his teeth due to being taller and accidentally kicked her. This is what he was nervous about. He's already ruining it and they've hung out for three seconds.

"Oh god I'm so sorry, love" he apologised and got up, trying to help her up as well.

"I-it's okay" she got up on her own and Luke knew he ruined everything forever and now it's gonna be awkward.

All of a sudden she started giggling like crazy and he blushed, not only for feeling embarrassed but also cause he felt excluded for not understanding what's so funny.

"What?" he mumbled embarrassingly.

"We're such idiots" she laughed "We attempted to hung and ended up bumping into each other" she kept laughing and that's when he realised it was okay. Because she was perfect.

She never made fun of him. She respected him and yeah she was rude at the beginning but she was so incredibly sweet. She was perfect.

"You're so beautiful" he smiled and she blushed, smiling as well.

"Stop, you're making me blush" she giggled and Luke swore he'd die.

"I'm so happy I'm meeting you" instead of a reply, like he expected, he got a tight (and so needed) hug "Hey check the time"

"Why?" 

"Just do it"

With that said, Jem took her phone out of her pocket and a gigantic grin made its way to her lips. Luke was the sweetest person ever.

"You're the sweetest person ever, Lukey"  she smiled and he blushed, smiling back at her. He was so awkward and she was so beautiful. Way too good for him. He quickly shook those thoughts away when she held his hand sweetly.

And that was when he realised it. Jem was the love of his life.
