Drake:
"Daddy! Daddy wake up!"
I slowly opened up my eyes to see Riley jumping around on our king sized bed. Looking to my right, I was expected Leilani to be laying right next to me but reality hit and I remembered we don't even sleep in the same room anymore.
"What're you doing up so early?" I groaned before picking her up and tossing her in the air
"Mommy left and I'm hungry."
"Let's go find her," I got up and then helped her get down
We searched the entire house and she was no where to be found. For a moment I though she had packed her shit and left until I looked into her closet and saw that all of her clothes were still there. I called her plenty of times and she sent me straight to voicemail. It wasn't until I checked her snapchat that I saw she was with Destin on the beach. An invite would've been nice though...
"Daddy!" Riley tugged on my shorts
"Hm?"
"I eat now!"
"Right, let's see what's in the kitchen," we headed off in that direction
"What do you want to eat?" I opened up the fridge
"Cheese sandwich! How mommy makes it," she climbed up on a chair
"How does she do that?" I pulled out a few slices of cheese and then grabbed a loaf of bread off of the top of the fridge
I quickly made us both grilled cheese sandwiches before putting them on a plate and setting one in front of her.
"Daddy... What is this?" She pointed towards the sandwich
"It's what you asked for," I handed her a cup of apple juice
"It looks like poop," she frowned, "I want mommy to make it!" She began to whine and cry
"How about some ice cream?"
"Okay," she sniffled as she wiped her tears away
I tossed the sandwich and replaced it with a bowl of strawberry ice cream. She ate it within minutes making me chuckle. She had managed to get it all over her hands, shirt, and face. I took a damp towel and tried to clean her off a little bit.
"Can you be a big girl and pick out your clothes for today?"
"Mm, nope!" She jumped off of the chair, "Mommy does that."
"If you do I'll give you a surprise."
"I want a puppy!" She jumped up and down
"A puppy it is! You have 10 minutes."
She quickly ran off and up the stairs into her room. I don't know how Lei manages all of this. After a few minutes I decided to make my way upstairs to see what Riley had picked out to wear.
Waking into her messy room, she was spinning around in a ballerina outfit and a pair of Yeezys. I shrugged my shoulders at the fact that she could've chosen something much worse.
"Daddy!" She ran up to me and wrapped herself around my right leg
Chuckling lowly at her, I limped into her bathroom to gather her hair products so I could attempt to do her hair. Bending down, I lifted her up and sat her down on the counter.
"I want braids," she looked up at me with her big brown eyes
"You're getting a bun, don't you want look like a ballerina?"
"Mommy braids my hair," she pouted
"Do you want a puppy or no?" I raised my eyebrow
"Yes!"
