Evelyn:
I loaded up my tray with my favorite foods before approaching the lunch lady so I could pay for everything. I handed her a 20 dollar bill and asked for her to put the remainder of my change into my account. Moments later I finally headed over to the usual table I sit at everyday.
Waving to a couple of friends as I passed them by I noticed King and Sebastian sitting with North. I groaned in frustration but decided it was too late for me to turn around to find somewhere else to sit.
Sebastian had his eyes on my the entire time as I took my seat next to North.
"What's up doll?" She smiled, "You look cute."
"Nothing much," I mumbled as I focused my attention on eating my food
"Well we never finished planning out what we're going to do tonight."
"Yeah, what are we doing tonight?" King butted in before I could respond
"Well Evelyn and I are going to my dad's concert tonight."
"Sounds dope," Sebastian finally spoke up, "We should all go."
"I guess," North mumbled, "Would you be okay with that?" She asked me
"That's fine, but only if I can invited Quentin too."
"Quentin? Why would you want to invite him?" She gave me a confused look
"Because he's my boyfriend?"
"Damn you move on quick Evelyn. I thought we had something?" Sebastian clenched his jaw in anger
"We hung out once for like 30 minutes, that really wasn't something."
A hurt expression played across his face making me feel like a terrible person. I didn't mean to be so blunt with him but I was only telling the truth.
"We're still cool though, right?" I reached across the table and rested my hand on top of his, "You're a great friend Bash."
"Friend... I guess I'll take that. Until Quentin messes up," he looked at me with a smirk
I felt my cheeks getting warm so I looked back down at my food. He's so damn charming when he wants to be.
For the next 20 minutes we all ate with very minimum conversation. North is the most talkative person I know and all of a sudden she has nothing to say. Usually after lunch we walk together to our next classes but she decided to run off with some other girls I'm not really friends with. Her sudden change in attitude caught me off guard and I wasn't liking it at all. We'll have to have a talk about this tonight.

The rest of the day was a breeze since my easiest classes were in the afternoon. Since it was a Friday I didn't have to worry about going straight home and working on my homework like I usually did. Instead Angel and I went shopping for something for me to wear tonight.
I can't really say I'm the "girly" type when it comes to what I wear. I always just go for what's comfortable and easy to match. That's I why I decided on a simple gray t-shirt dress with a plaid flannel that I can wrap around my waist. I'd accessorize it with a black floppy hat and all white converses that I stole from mom's closet.
