I straightened out my black and white bow-tie before running my hands down my tuxedo.

Tonight is the night I've been waiting for an extremely long time, Prom with the most beautiful date a guy could ask for. I haven't even seen Angel yet and I can only imagine how amazing she looks.

We've been texting back and forth all day expressing our excitement.

A knock on the door took my attention away from the mirror.

"Come in!"

"You clean up nice big fella'," Drizzy walked in

"Thanks," I chuckled as I dapped him

"Oh my god! Miles you're so handsome!" Leilani came dashing into the room

She gave me a tight hug before buttoning up my blazer.

"Mom, I like it better unbuttoned," I swatted her hands away

"Who's the fashion designer here?" She smacked her lips

"It doesn't matter, I look more fly with it unbuttoned."

"Whatever boy, Angel is here so come on downstairs."

"She's here? Like right now?" I tensed up

"Yeah, we'll meet you downstairs so you two can take a few pictures," Leilani gave me another hug before trailing behind Drizzy out of my room

My once excited state of mind seemed to have been swept away with nervousness. I'm not sure why I'm feeling like a groom awaiting to see his bride on wedding day. It's really not that deep.

Walking over to my dresser, I grabbed the bouquet of roses and the corsage I purchased for her earlier today. I then took one more deep breath before exiting out of my room and slowly made my way down the stairs. I could already she her from a distance. Although her back was facing me, I was already mesmerized by the way her dress complimented every aspect of her body.

As I finally reached the bottom of the stairs she quickly turned around with the cutest smile on her face.

"Miles! You look so good!" She exclaimed as she approached me

"I mean, I'm not gonna disagree with that," I smirked before pulling her into a hug, "But you look so much better, I'm honestly speechless," I said lowly in her ear

"Awww, they're so cute," Leilani cooed, making me groan out in embarrassment, "Let get a couple of pictures of you guys."

A "couple" of pictures ended up being damn near 100, we almost ended up being late for our dinner reservations but our limo driver took a short cut to the restaurant.

Angel had picked out the most random place for us to eat at. It was a vegan pizza place. It didn't sound too appetizing but she begged me to go so obviously I was going to say yes.
