A/N Requested by @AndYourBirdCanWrite. Sorry it took so long, I've been stressed what with finals and graduation. It may not be my best work but, it's summer so it'll get better!!

"Alright gang, we need to get into groups to go find Gilligan..." The Professor stated.
"Again," The Skipper muttered.
"Honestly though, why can't the dear boy just stay in one place? It's awfully inconsiderate of him to go around getting kidnapped." Said Mrs.Howell.
The Professor shook his head. Often times, it was impossible for him to get anything done with these people. But he had developed a sense of fondness to the group, especially MaryAnn. The way she moved and spoke. The way she always looked out for everyone, trying to please everyone with her slightly poor cooking and cleaning skills.
"I'll go with the Professor," Ginger smirked, running her hand down his chest seductively.
Professor removed her hands from his chest, "Actually, I was going to go with MaryAnn, you can accompany the Skipper."
Ginger gave MaryAnn a dirty look, and scoffed at the Skipper's awful grin. Professor didn't quiet understand Ginger's continual advances on him, he had not expressed any interest in the movie star. In fact he hadn't had any interest in her at all, he was in love with MaryAnn.
"Ginger and Skipper, you cover the east side if the island, 15 miles out, then come back to the huts. Mr. and Mrs. Howell, same thing, just go towards the west. MaryAnn and I will go south. Alright? Let's go find our friend!"
As the crew parted ways, MaryAnn spoke, " Oh, Professor? What of we don't find Gilligan? What if he gets killed?" MaryAnn stomped her foot into the sand, "I don't know if I could deal with that." MaryAnn burst into tears. Professor stood there awkwardly watching his love cry, unsure of what to do. He awkwardly wrapped his arms around her, stroking her hair and whispering reassuring words into her ear. He loved the smell of her hair, and the feel of her small fingers of his chest. This isn't about you right now Roy, he thought, Stop her tears and find shelter. Night is approaching. You're too far from the huts. Cheese and rice, SNAP OUT OF IT ROY HINKLEY!!!! Professor shook his head.
"MaryAnn, it's getting dark, we must find shelter." He spoke sternly.
MaryAnn sniffed, "There's a small cave about 1/2 a mile west of here. I stayed there with Gilligan one night." The thought of Gilligan had caused her to burst into tears again, leaving Professor clueless.
"It's alright MaryAnn, save your tears. Show me to the cave and we'll be safe there." Professor spoke softly.
As they walked to the cave MaryAnn began to get tired, which required Professor to carry her to the cave. Thankfully he didn't have to carry her long, as he was pretty exhausted. Together, they lay in the cave, MaryAnn leaning against the Professor's chest, with his arm wrapped protectively around her waist. As she fell asleep, he whispered in her ear, " I love you, MaryAnn," and kissed her on the top of her head. She looked up at him and smiled as they both fell asleep.
At the crack of dawn, the two of them made their way back to the huts. When they arrived, they were greeted by a tearful Ginger, a pair of equally emotional Howells, and a very red faced Skipper.
"Professor! MaryAnn! You're alright! Thank God! GILLIGAN GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW AND THAT'S AN ORDER!!" Skipper exclaimed.
"I assume you found our friend," Professor asked.
" Yeah. He was in a coconut tree, 10 miles out. When me 'n Ginger found him, he said he was hiding from headhunters. And of course, my 'little buddy' was talking about the ones that we on the island last week."
As if on que, Gilligan ran from their hut with a huge grin on his face, "You're OK!!! I'm sorry you had to looking for me. We thought you two got kidnapped cause I saw these big headhunters a-a and they had knives and they were marching and, and,"
"Gilligan BE QUIET!"
"Sorry Skipper."
"Well," Professor spoke, " now that we are all safe and sound, I believe that some rest and private time is in order. I, myself am very tired and am going to retire to my hut."
As he began to walk to his hut, MaryAnn ran after him. "Professor? Can I talk to you?" She asked politely.
"Of course. Shall we go to my hut?" He asked. She nodded.
When they arrived, there was an awkward tension in the storage hut where the Professor slept.
"Professor, last night, when we were in the cave, you told me that you loved me. Did you mean that?" She inquired.
"I-i I'm sorry MaryAnn, I don't know what came over me. P-please forgive me..." Professor stuttered out.
"But did you mean it?" He looked away, unable to look in her eyes. She grabbed his chin forcing him to look at her.
"Professor. Did. You. Mean. It?"
"Y-yes. I-i meant it."
MaryAnn hugged the Professor, and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you too. Very very much."
Professor looked down at her, unable to speak. "You do?"
"Of course. I wouldn't just lie to you would I?"
"No no. Silly me. I'm sorr-----
And right before Professor could stutter out another apology, MaryAnn kissed him. The kiss turned to something of a passionate one. Not of lust or urge, but out of love. The caring, beautiful one that everyone longed for.
They kept their relationship secret for 5 years. Once they were rescued, everyone knew. By that point, their love turned from a childish daydream, and a strong unbreakable bond only true lovers developed.

The End.
