Ben's P.O.V.
My eyes shot open from sleep. I crawled out of bed, then fell on the floor. "Ow." The sheets fell all over me. I tried to get them off me. I walked out of my room. "C'mon, get off me!" I fell down the stairs again. "Ow! Ouch! Woah! Ah! Ouchie!" I tumbled down the stairs till I reached the 1st floor.

Well, at least the sheets are off me now. "Morning, Ben." Jack said, eating a sandwich. "Good morning!" I stood up. I found my hat and put it on my head. "So, anything cool happening around here yet?" I asked Jack. "Nothing yet. But I guess there's Slender's training to look forward to." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Huh?" "You know, Slender had a special kind of training to prepare us for the coming of Zalgo." I smiled. "Oh yeah...wait, who's Zalgo?"

He gave me a surprised look. "Well, I don't really know that much about him. He's this magical entity like Slender, but has more magic in him than Slendy. According to Slender, when he comes here on earth, he's gonna sing some kind of end song. It's supposed to cause the end of the world. He's bad news. Personally, I think we need to evacuate instead of doing some training." I nodded. "Is that why everyone seems so down, today?" I asked, commenting on the other pastas. Jeff sat down he rested his head on his hand. His smile couldn't hide the fact that he was worried. Clockwork stared at the ticking clock on the wall. She looked very sad.

Masky played with the string at the back of his mask. He was sweating a bit and his face looked stressed and worried. Beside him were Hoodie and Toby. I couldn't really tell how he felt. His face was covered by his hood. Toby has his hatchet in his hands. His mask and goggles were off so you could see his face, and he didn't look happy.

"You're probably right." Jack said. "Then why aren't you so worried?" I asked him. "Because I know that we can't beat him. Zalgo is coming and it's a clear fact that there's no stopping him. You'd be crazy if you think that there's any chance at defeating him." He continued to eat his sandwich. "So when does this training thing start? And by the way, have you seen Slender by any chance?" He looked at me. "One, he never really gave us any specifics. Two, haven't seen him all day. He never even gave any of us one of his notes." I shrugged. "Well I'm gonna go see of I can find him. He looked pretty scared when he mentioned the name of that Zalgo guy." He waved his hand at me. Slender's room is on the top floor of the mansion. I would use the stairs but I'm to cool for those. Besides, there are 19 more floors below the top one. I decided to use a potion.

The consequences couldn't be that great. I got a potion from my pocket and threw it on the floor. "Ben, you don't always need to throw a glass bottle on the floor to summon the portal. Just pour the liquid on the floor." I stared at Jack before slapping my forehead. "Oh." He groaned. The portal that led to Slender's room opened in front of me. Through the portal, I could already see Slender. He was sitting on the chair we gave him last Christmas.

He also looked unnerved. I don't think he saw me yet. His head was facing down. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts. I don't think it's a good time to see him yet. I closed the portal. "I thought that you were gonna go see Slender." Jack threw his plate in the dishwasher. "I'm not so sure if he's up for a conversation yet." Jack shrugged. "Okay, then. I'm gonna lock myself in my room to meditate or something." "What? Why?" He walked up the stairs. "If we're gonna spend our last few weeks on earth, we might as well do it in isolation."

I scratched my head. He's definitely lost it. I walked back up to my room. I was about to open the door when I heard Jack scream. "HEY GUYS, I GOT A NOTE FORM SLENDER!!!" He ran back down the stairs. I sighed before coming back downstairs. "So, what does that note say?" He took the note out of his pocket. "Uh, it says 'Jack, training starts in five minutes. I will be down there soon. -Slender." My eyes widened. "Okay, we have five minutes to get ready for what might be the most excruciating, pain inducing, grueling and torturing training session of our lives." Everyone started screaming and running around the mansion.

...

We heard Slender teleport in the middle of the room. "Hello, everyone. I hope that you are all well and rested. We shall now begin training." We stood up in a line. "Ahem, yes well, I see you've been preparing. Anyways, as I said last night, you will each be training for the next months to prepare for the arrival of Zalgo." I gulped. "For your first act of training you shall do...a mission." "What?" Slender nodded. "Yes, a mission. Clockwork. Two days ago, you mentioned something about a witness to your previous mission. I want you and Toby to find and kill that man. As for the rest of you, I want you to find and capture the finest and richest men in town. You may use my magic. I want each of you to be back in half an hour."

We nodded. Half an hour?! How are we supposed to kill the richest men in town in half an hour?! "Yes, Slender." "Go." We ran off. Each of us ran out through the main door. "So, huff...I guess that...huff, we're going to split up into groups...as always." Jeff said, running swiftly through the trees. The mansion was in the middle of a forest. None of us are sure which forest it's in but to tell the truth...none of us really care. I floated through the trees, but not high enough so anyone could see me. "So, Clockwork and Toby, you know what to do. Most likely, he lives in the house where you killed that other guy, right?" I asked her.

She gave me a thumbs up. "Ben, pass me a potion, will ya?" I reached into my pocket and pulled out a potion. I threw it at her and it hit her head. "Ow! Can you be more careful?" "Sorry, honey but I'm flying." She rolled her eye. She opened a portal to her destination then jumped right in, followed by Toby. "Catch you guys back at the mansion." Clockwork said as she ran off.

Clockwork's P.O.V.
We landed at the man's house. Me and Toby stood up and brushed the dirt off ourselves. "This is the house alright. Classy as ever." "But where's the witness?" Toby asked me. I just shrugged. "Let's try looking around." Then, we heard the sound of a ringtone. "What's that noise?" Toby pointed to a phone sitting on a desk. "I think it's that." He picked up the phone and handed it over to me. "Hello?" A male voice said. "Troy, is that you? We got a big problem. We got iced. Randall was murdered last week. How come you haven't been responding to any of your calls?" I was about to respond when I heard Toby's voice. "Clockwork, look out!" The next thing I felt was a blow to the head by a frying pan. I heard Toby's muffled screams. "The last thing I saw before passing out was the face of the witness. "Sshhh..."
