The curse

Soji nods and stands in front of her "I also need to know where we stand"
"W-what do you mean?"
"Where we stand"
"I don't understand"
Soji sighs "your boss said you we're lying to me. I don't want to believe it, but I need to ask anyways"
Roxy eyes widen "I-I don't know w-what your talking about" she said nervously.
"Roxy don't lie to me. What have you been hiding from me? And just so you know, I won't judge you any different"
Roxy looks down "I-I'm slowly d-dying"
Soji looks shocked "b-but didn't I just heal you?"
"It's a curse"
Soji is still shocked
"This curse is killing me"
"W-what's this curse?"
"It turns me into a monster, when I get enraged"
"Roxy how did you get this curse?"
"I was born with it..."
Soji pounders this "did your parents have it?"
"No that's what's strange about it"
"Hmm... I declare this Roxy. I will find out why you have this curse, and how to remove it. You deserve better"
"It's not a curable curse Soji, my parents tried and I'll die in least than a month"
"I don't care. I will find a way to save you Roxy"
"If I do get enraged then I'll die in least than a week"
"Then I won't let anything happen to you Roxy."
"Please don't tell Midna she doesn't know about this curse"
"I won't tell her I promise"
"Thank you"
"Don't mention it Roxy"
"Let's go back then" she said grabbing his arm and teleports to where her dead mother and sister are at.
Soji says a prayer as he sees them.
Roxy lets his arm go and walks over to her sisters body and grabs her necklace and rips it off her neck and then she stands in front of their bodies "I promise you will always be in my heart.."
Soji walks over to her and pats her shoulder "we'll avenge them, I promise. And your boss is dead now for good. Now we just have to worry about the league of assassins"
Roxy grips her sisters necklace tighter and then she puts it on and weird markings appears on both of her arms.
Soji looks alarmed "what's happening?"
"It's my sisters power" she said turning around to face Soji
Soji looks at her in awe "your so much stronger than me now. And all of your injuries have repaired themselves. What kind of power is this?"
"It's a type of demon power that's been in my family for thousands of years"
Soji looks at her in astonishment "it's exactly as old as sage mode. Do you think there is some kind of connection?"
"Possibly, I'm not sure"
Soji starts doing the math in head "when did this 'demon' power come to be exactly?"
"I don't know my family never said, only that it was really, really old"
"Same as my father. Except there was a road there that's was a sage that could tell me when it came to be. Maybe we could also ask him when your new power came to be?"
"Yeah but let's get back to Midna and Yamato there probably wondering where we are now"
"Yeah ok" they start walking towards their camp.
The markings on Roxy's arms disappears.
Soji wonders where it went, but he focuses on getting to Midna and Yamato.
Roxy sighs as she walks
"What's wrong?"
"Just think about a few things"
Soji nods "the same thing has happened to me also"
Roxy sees Midna in the distance and starts to run after her
Soji runs after her scanning the tree lines for assassins just in case.
Roxy kneels down and hugs Midna
"Sis" she said hugging back.
"She kept her promise Midna"
"But where is mommy and sister?"
Roxy looks down at the ground "th-they didn't make it... I'm s-sorry Midna...."
Soji looks at the ground and kicks a rock.
Midna has tears in her eyes and they stream down her face
Roxy pulls away from Midna and wipes her tears away "Midna don't cry, they are still her" she said pointing to her heart "and as long as you remember them, they will always be here"
Soji looks uncomfortable as he sees Midna crying. He decides on giving her a kunai. "Here take this. Whenever your in trouble, I'll be able to sense it and teleport to you to help. If it comforts you"
Midna looks at Roxy and she nods and then see looks at the kunai and takes it "t-thank you"
"No problem" he pats Midna on the head and starts doing perimeter checks.
Roxy stands up but, collapses to the ground and she puts both her hands to her heart
"S-SIS!?"
Soji runs to her side "it's that damn curse! I have to find a way to disable it!" He starts using medical ninjustu
Roxy passes out
Soji continues to heal her until she sighs in her sleep.
Midna "curse?"
Soji looks over at her in remorse "I don't know if you knew this Midna, but Roxy has a curse that shortens her life. It's taking its toll on her life"
"S-she n-never t-told me, she said s-she was fine...."
Soji looks at Roxy with a weird look on his face. "She's gonna kill me for this" he touches Midna's forehead and she passes out. 'And there goes her memory.'Soji though
Roxy stirs and starts to wake up.
Soji feels bad about he having to lie to her about Midna. But she can't know about Roxy's curse. Besides, he only erased the memory about his saying Roxy's curse was the cause of her passing out.
Roxy slowly opens her eyes
"Hey, welcome back to the world of the living" he had been generating nature energy and was stroking them into clones.
Roxy sits up holding her head "ugh, my head hurts"
"Yeah, it's gonna hurt for a bit. Your curse caught up to you for a bit. Midna didn't see anything though, I'm sure of it"
Roxy stops holding her head "it's gone.." She said surprised
"Yeah" Soji said as he finished transferring energy to her "I just transferred some life energy to you"
Roxy looks over at Midna "you sure she doesn't know about my curse"
"Trust me, she won't know.." He said looking away in shame, and starts pacing.
"I trust you on your word" she said standing up.
Soji nods "where's Yamato?"
"How should I know"
Soji groans and yells out "Yamato?"
Roxy looks around.
