Zyke watched Gohan. He had just been killed by Cell only hours before. All he wanted was to make Gohan feel better and he let his guard down once. Never again, he thought.
Gohan was looking down at Zyke's grave. Tears mixed in with the rain that fell on him like bullets. He dropped to his knees and cried even harder.
"Gohan!" Zyke smiled big and ran to Gohan. "Gohan? A-Are you crying, Gohan?" He asked softly. Gohan looked up at him. "Z-Zyke?" He asked and stood. "Is it you..?" He touched Zyke's cheek.
Zyke nuzzled against his hand and smiled. "Yeah. I was allowed a little bit of time to say goodbye."
Gohan hugged Zyke tightly and cried into his chest. "I-Im sorry... I let you die!" He wailed. Zyke shook his head. "No, its my fault. Dont you dare blame yourself." He said sharply.
"Look, it was my fault okay? Just keep your head held high for me and Goku Son, okay?" He asked.
Gohan nodded and cried harder.
Zyke sighed and kissed his head softly. "I'll be back Gohan." He said softly before vanishing.
However Gohan was left still crying and a red face.
