Kate's POV
"Ha ha ha I would have figured that out eventually" I say to Casey.
Ambulance 61, Truck 81, Squad 3 Battalion 25, Apartment Fire
"You wanna come along you and the kid can ride on a rig" the chief offers. "You want to go see them do there job Lily" "sure" lily responds setting down the red crayon she was drawing with. "You can ride in truck 81" an older man says opening the door for us. We get in the man sitting next to me, lily standing up. "Mr. Firefighter can I sit on your lap" Lily asks "sure kiddo and call me Herrmann" he says helping Lily onto his lap.
We finally get to the scene of the fire, and we all get out. "Woah it's stinky" Lily says "your smelling the flammable gas kid back up and put this on" the chief says giving lily a breathing mask. We are at the scene for about 7 minutes when the chief calls everyone out because the buildings going to go. "Gabby's still inside" Casey yells "there" I say pointing to her. "Gabby" lily yells running to her. "Kid no come back" chief Boden yells when out of nowhere the building explodes sending rubble in all directions.
