"Legit never using the bus ever again." Topaz sighed leaning against her locker as Allison watched a few officers mill around the bloodied bus. Students whispered around them, stating theories about murders and animal attacks, with each whisper Topaz grew irritated, wishing she could sew their mouths shut.
"You could always catch a ride with me, my dad usually drops me off." Allison offered, moving away from the lockers and started walking towards class. Topaz trailed after her, her eyes skimming past Scott franticly moving about. "So you're free tonight right?"
"If this is about the group hang out again sure, I mean I have nothing better to do right?" She grinned, waving at a few girls she befriended over their distaste in chemistry, and Harris all together. "Plus I'd never miss out a chance to discreetly check out Jackson."
"Discreetly." Allison mimicked, her grin widening before she slammed into a body, knocking all of her books down onto the tiled floors.
"Oh god, Allison are you alright?" She questioned, quickly organizing her fallen books into a pile with her magic. The brunette only let out a airy laugh and nodded, grinning up at the culprit. Scott McCall stood in front of the two with fearful eyes. Topaz only smirked and walked away from the pair, catching the attention from a few other students. She waved off at the bubbly brunette, leaving her to awkwardly chat with her new found high school sweetheart as Topaz exchanged theories about the horrific bus accident.
"So, Jo, I heard a mountain lion got a bit too excited last night. What do you think?"

"Mr. Stilinski," Harris spoke up, making Topaz turn away from her notebook and toward Stiles. "If that's your idea of a hushed whisper, you might want to pull the headphones out every once in a while. I think you and Mr. McCall would benefit from a little distance, yes?"
"No."
Topaz stifled a laugh as Harris moved the chatty twins. She watched as Scott moved towards the front while Stiles moved the the next empty seat. Which happened to be the one in front of her. She groaned as he sat down, making him turn around and glare at her. She rolled her eyes at him and continued to finish writing her notes, though now it had become a challenge due to the massive balding head in front of her.
"Hey, do you think you could get a head reduction surgery or something?" Topaz asked, moving his head to the right so she could see the board.
"What?" He asked with narrow eyes. She shrugged and stuck her tongue out at him, making him scowl at the blonde. Before she could make a remark about his face, the girl sitting near Scott shot out of her seat and ran to the nearest window.
"I think I see something!"
Everyone stood, pushing themselves towards the windows their eyes trained on the paramedics slowly making their way to a few deputy's. Topaz rolled her eyes and sat back down, knowing that Harris would soon scold the students that had leaped up and walked away during his lesson. She played with a strand of her golden hair as Harris started writing a few names down. She flinched when a mob of students screamed, many of them flying backwards as Harris tried to calm them down.
"Idiots." She mumbled, watching Scott and Stiles cower to the back of the room. "God today totally sucks."

"I'm starving can we please just choose a table?" Topaz complained, her lunch tray held tightly in her hands.
"No, we can't just choose a table we have to choose our table." Lydia rolled her eyes, scanning the entire room.
"Well our table's been hijacked by some freshmen milf's." Topaz sighed, ignoring the playful jabs that Tyler, another one of Jackson's lacrosse buddies sent her.
"Why don't we sit with Scott?" Allison tried, pointing at the table where Scott sat. Lydia stood, a thoughtful expression plastered on her face before she nodded. The three of them walked ahead of the boy's, quickly plopping into the empty seats.
She ignored Stiles' attempt to start conversation after a failed one with Danny, and started shoving her face with the slightly damp cheese bread in front of her. She also ignored the look Lydia sent her way as she let out a low burp, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment as the entire table watched her place a hand awkwardly over her lips. After a few seconds of silence Jackson finally arrived, starting an argument with Tyler.
"So I hear they're saying it's some sort of animal attack." Danny spoke up, his voice muffled as he bit into an apple. "Probably a cougar."
"I heard mountain lion." Jackson added, making the entire table roll their eyes. Topaz tempted to sew his mouth shut with the flick of her fingers, but Lydia's comment made her pause, questioning the girls facade for a moment.
"A cougar is a mountain lion." She scoffed before realizing her mistake as everyone narrowed their eyes at her. "Isn't it?"
"Who cares?" Jackson cut in before anyone could answer. "The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna die anyway."
"Actually, I just found out who it is." Stiles interrupted Topaz's concentration, forcing her to stop the spell she was about to cast on the smug boy sitting near the front of the greasy table. "Check it out."
"The Sheriff's Department won't speculate on details of the incident but confirmed the victim, Garrison Meyers, did survive the attack." A man spoke to the camera before the scene changed to the Stiles' father walking around the ambulance. The camera swiveled to the bloodied bus before turning back to the reporter. "Meyers was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition."
"I know this guy." Scott gasped as a picture of an old man with smile wrinkles popped onto the small screen. Topaz had lost interest soon after the sheriff was pacing on the screen, and had moved her attention to the magazine that Lydia handed her in English.
"You do?"
"Yeah, when I used to take the bus back when I lived with my dad, he was the driver." Scott continued, ignoring the bored looks Lydia, Jackson and Topaz were wearing.
"Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please?" Lydia spoke up, making Topaz grin at the blunt girl. "Like, oh, where are we going tomorrow night? You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night, right?"
"Um, we were thinking of what we were gonna do." Allison stalled, causing the blonde girl to roll her eyes. She went back to her reading when she felt a sharp blow against her ankle.
"What the heck?" She yelled, glaring at the table as she tried to figure out who had left her ankle throbbing. Lydia raised a brow at her, turning towards Jackson and Danny who also wore masks of confusion. The only person who had a guilty face was the boy sitting beside her, his face red with embarrassment.
"Uh, I-I'm so sorry Topaz." He stuttered, quickly placing a water bottle to his mouth. She glared at him, her eyes boring into his skull before another sharp kick was aimed at her. A yelp escaped her lips as Scott's eye's widened, she stood up her ankles pounded in pain while she grabbed her bag, leaving her tray on the table.
"You two are worse than Snarf and Simon Finkle," She turned, before pulling Stiles water bottle out of his mouth mid drink, leaving him sputtering and wet. "And that's saying at lot."
