"I somehow managed to turn La-La into a human, and she got so excited she ran out the door, and into the woods." Topaz muttered into the phone, running through the dark woods, searching for her magical pet bunny, whom she had just turned into a human. The past twenty four hours haven't been the best for Topaz, as soon as she had landed in California, her cell phone had stopped working, and she had almost lost her luggage. Her hair wasn't as perky as it would have been back in Trollzopolis, and she could feel her magic being drained. It just wasn't a good first day in the new town she had moved to.

"I did get a photo of us together, but she kept moving so it's kinda blurry." Topaz grinned, talking to her best friend, Sapphire. She could picture it all in her mind, Sapphire sitting against her bedroom walls with a book cracked open in one hand and cell phone in the other.

"You took a picture of your rabbit, that you turned into a human?" Sapphire gasped, her voice slightly raspy, and fuzzed due to the horrible connection the woods were receiving. Topaz only grinned at her friends shock, nodding her head violently, even though Sapphire couldn't see her.

"That's exactly what I did, and now I'm searching for her!"

"How are you going to find her?" Topaz only shrugged, a small him falling from her lips as she summoned a bag of carrots with her magic in a snap.

"Carrots?"

"She's not a rabbit anymore Top."

"Oh, of course she's not a–" Topaz gasped as she tripped over a large decaying log, and right into a large puddle of water, her phone flying off into the dark leaves and deep mud. A string of curse words fell from her lips as she crawled along the dirty group, searching for her cellphone.

It didn't take long for her to hear the wailing sounds of sirens, and the muffled voiced of older men, walking around the dark woods with guard dogs, and bright flashlights. Topaz let out a breath of relief, and started making her way towards the noise. As she was walking towards the noise, she could make up a few males carrying guns, and flash lights.

"Hey! I'm–" her voice got cut of, just as if did minutes ago, but this time instead of tripping, Topaz felt someone grab her ankle, pulling her down towards the floor before pressing a hand against her mouth.

Her eyes widened in fear as she took in her surroundings, she was alone in the forest, with no cell phone and was being pushed onto the floor by a teenager with a buzzcut. He slowly moved his hand away from her mouth, and toward's his lips as he turning to look at the commotion that was happening in front of them.

"Hang on, hang on. This little delinquent belongs to me." She heard a male's voice yell, the sounds of dogs barking echoed around the dark woods as the boy beside her was pulled up, flashlights shining in the two teens eyes.

"Hey dad!" He grinned as Topaz frowned, pushing herself off the ground and stood in front of the two males.

"Do you listen into all of my phone calls?" The older man frowned, lowering the flashlight from her eyes.

"Not the boring one's." The boy shrugged, scratching the back of his neck .

"Hi, I'm here too." Topaz interrupted their conversation, her lips curled downwards. She leant up against a near by tree and brushed off the dirt that had been smeared against her white dress. "And your son," she glanced over at the man dressed in uniform, a golden plate pinned onto his jacket. "Just broke more law's than I had broken nails in my life sheriff."

"Where's your partner in crime?" Sheriff asked after making his son apologize, as Topaz drifted away from the two and continued her search for her cell phone and La-La.

"Out recruiting more members, just like that blonde."

"That blonde has a name." Topaz turned around before fully walking away from the two. She smirked as the boy raised his eyebrow, his lips curling down slightly.

"Topaz. Like the gem."

A/N. Okay the first chapter kinda thingy, the prologue of you may, may suck, but it'll get better I swear.

Also my bb Dove is so cute in that picture, and yeah Topaz still has magic but it won't be like as fluent and useful as it was in the show.
