"How many have you recruited?" I ask Conhghain. He smiled.

"729. Not including the kids." he grinned.

"Wow, I didn't think people still believed in me, or that I was still alive." I commented.

"So many people not only think your alive but are willing to give their lives for you." Conhghall says.

"Damn." I say loudly.

"Not to break this moment, but I recruited 1093 warriors." Conhghall says with a grin.

"Lier!" Conhghain yelled.

"No!" yelled Conhghall yelled back.

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Yes!"

"NO! Wait what?" Conhghain yell confused. Conhghall sits there snickering as I shake my head with a grin.

"Why don't you both shut the fuck up?" Alickina said. She comes walking out in short PJ bottoms and a t-shirt. I hear a growl beside me and look over to see Conhghall staring at her. Seconds later she is pinned under his arm against a wall.

"Time to go!" I yell and shove Conhghain out the door.

We walk down the hall way in silence for a while until Conhghain speaks up.

"If you don't mind me asking, why don't you have your mate?"

"I don't know" I say.

"Oh, I just thought since you're like 700+ years old......" he continued.

"I don't want to talk about this."

"Are you scared of finding your mate?" he presses on.

"I got to go Conhghain." I say and run ahead, making a portal then jumping though.

I look around to see I am in my meadow. Eachthighearna lets a soft rumble greeting me, when he feels my stress.

"I'm ok. I just wish that I have a better life. Lyall is going to have to go the rest of his life without knowing that I was his mate. It is better for him though. He will be safe. I just hope that the spell will not come off when I die. Think I will be dead in a couple of years. I hope that Alickina will pull though and understand why I will do it." I whisper to Eachthighearna.

I hop on His back and lay down, feeling the energy and the power of the forest. After I while Eachthighearna starts to graze again walking around slowly rocking me, causing me to get sleepy. With the warmth of the early fall day and the soft energy the plants are giving me, I slowly fall asleep.

I wake up to someone - no wait, several voices calling my name. I recognize the voices as Alickina, Conhghall and Conhghain. I decide to wait until they saw me to do anything. Eachthighearna pricks his ears forward and walks toward them lazily, hoping for some attention.

"Mommy?" my little girl's voice sounds. I open my eyes, realizing that I am in my fae form and roll over onto my belly putting my hands under my chin and kick my legs up over my butt. I look them all in the eye, glaring at Conhghain a little longer. I then turn my attention to Roisin.

"Want up baby? Want up?" I ask, only looking at her.

"Yes!" she yells and runs toward me. I lean over Eachthighearna side and pick her up, sitting her in front of me.
