Chapter 14

sophie

As I washed my hair I thought about all the things that could go wrong today. Today was the day we had set up to go on a double date for Ryan and Kimberly. Hayes was so ready to get them together and he had no doubt that they would work, but I on the other hand was terrified about Kimberly and her obsession towards Hayes. Ever since we brought her here all she has talked about is Hayes. She doesn't seem to realize that he is my boyfriend and she is my cousin.

My mind wandered off when I heard the front door of my house open and close. Thinking it was my mom I continued with my shower and brushed it off.

Stepping out of the shower I dried off my body and blow dried my hair leaving it in its natural sate. I wrapped the towel around my body and walked out. The towel I was wearing barely covered my butt but there was no one there so too bad (Or so she thought (;).

I opened the door to my closet and grabbed some under garments and threw them on my bed. As I was searching through my messy closer I felt two hands on either of my sides taser my sides making me yelp and wobble over. Shortly after I felt two hands wrap around my waist as I gathered myself together. Looking down at the big hands embracing me I soon noticed it was Hayes. I took a breath out of relief and hugged him back, followed by heat rising up to my cheek when I realized my choice of wardrobe. I was in my towel that barely covered my butt. After feeling him not let go I quickly spoke up.

"Hayes?" I stated.

"Yes darling?" He replied sweetly

"Can I please get changed first baby, my towel barely covers my body." I said with a giggle

"I like this outfit on you actually, instead of changing why don't you just stay in it?" He replied with a smirk as I turned around

"Because I'm basically half naked Hayes, let me change first and then we'll cuddle." I received a fake pout and wiggled myself out of his grip.

Finding some denim shorts and a floral top I grabbed my undergarments and stepped into the bathroom to change. Feeling satisfied with my outfit I applied mascara, my favourite perfume, deodorant and walked out. 

Hayes was laying on my bed with one arm supporting his head while the other was scrolling thorough his phone. I jumped onto my bed and immediately laid my head on his Chest.

"Eager are we?" He asked teasingly

"For you my prince" I replied and pecked his cheek. He puckered his lips like a 5 year old, signalling me to kiss him on the lips. I pecked him in the lips and did it over and over again. After at least 10 kisses he looked at my face examining my features.

"God your so beautiful." He told me sincerely. I blushed at the sweet compliment and kissed him passionately, he immediately kissed back and things began escalating very quickly. I found him hovering over me with his lips on my neck, knowing he would leave a mark. I returned the action, but not long after we were interrupted by my loud cousin.

"SOPHIE!" She said as she bursts through my door. Hayes and I separated immediately.

"What Kimberly?" I replied bitterly once j noticed her haze had turned towards Hayes. I rolled my eyes when i didn't receive a reply. "Kimberly what do you want?" I asked

"Oh, um I wasn't sure what to wear." She said with her eyes still glued to Hayes. I got up and snapped in her face so she would snap out of her trance. She looked at me with a vicious look and immediately turned her gaze upon my neck.

"Good luck covering that up." She said and walked away. I walked over to my bathroom. To see what she described and immediately gasped at the mark that was on my neck.

"HAYES!" I yelled. He walked over calmly and stood behind me in the mirror.

"What?" He asked

"What do you mean what? There is an enormous hickey on my neck Hayes it's like as red as a tomato!" I told him. As I examined the mark.

"I think it's beautiful." He said and I looked at him dumbfounded. "Imagine it as me marking my territory. This mark means your mine." He said and wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled once I saw his point of view and lifted his hand up so I could kiss it.

2 HOURS LATER

hayes

Sophie, Kimberly and I left Sophie's house and walked to my house so we could pick up Ryan. For the double date, we had decided to go to the boardwalk and then to a local pizzeria for dinner. As we walked towards my house I found Sophie and me's hands linked together bringing me a sense of joy.

Ever since I met this girl all my sadness had faded away. I'm a new person now. My family doesn't even recognize me. Although his relationship is everything I want and everything I need, I know there will be a day when something will
go wrong... Terribly wrong.

kimberly

I continued walking behind Hayes and Sophie infuriated that the person holding his hand was not me. They looked so happy together but thugs wouldn't stay this way for long.

I remembered they were trying to set me and Ryan up but little did they know Ryan and I are on the same page.

ryan

I watched as Hayes and Sophie walked up to Hayes' house so we could go on our little double date. I noticed as Kimberly followed behind them with a look of annoyance. I knew I would make Sophie mine I knew it. I had too.

Sophie

We reached Hayes' house and before being able to knock on the door, Ryan opened it and was ready to go.

"Hello Sophie! How are you?" Ryan asked me enthusiastically.

"Um great thanks. You?"

"So much better now that your here." He replied. I looked up at Hayes and noticed him stiffen. He cleared his throat as a reminder for Ryan to keep his mouth shut.

"How about we go to the boardwalk now." Hayes said with a strong voice. We all began walking, Hayes and I by each others sides, and Kimberly and Ryan by each other.

Kimberly

As Ryan and I walked behind Hayes and Sophie we had decided to create a plan to delete the the two love birds. We were determined to break them up, and nothing was going to stop us.
