I woke up and looked at the time, it was already 5:30 in the morning. I stayed in bed and stared at the ceiling for a moment. I can't help but smile, thinking about what happened last night was a totally gave me a reason to start the day positively. She wasn't just all about beauty, but she also is kind, and wise too. I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes with my hands. I walked towards the bathroom and took a quick shower. I put on a plain blue shirt paired with faded blue jeans. I stood by the mirror and looked at my self and fixed my hair

I've been thinking of ways that I can make it up to Emily last night, I researched for places that we could go around here in Louisiana. But first,..I need to cook breakfast

I went downstairs I noticed something strange. Why is it so quiet here?. I went to the living room and found Melissa tying her hair,all dressed up and ready for work

"Good morning M" I greeted her as I approached the couch

"Hi, good morning" she replied as she looked at herself in the mirror

"Where's mom and dad?"

"Oh, they left early this morning they said they're going to visit Nicole" she replied as she slung her shoulder bag on her shoulder and took one last glance on the mirror

"Why, what happened to Nicole?" I sat on the couch right near where Melissa was standing

"She gave birth last night, and guess what it's a girl!" She exclaimed with a bright smile on her face

"Wow I'm so happy for her!" I was delighted by Melissa's news. My cousin Nicole got married to Rob Jhonson a year ago. Rob was working in the Navy while Nicole was a nurse. A few months during Nicole's pregnancy her doctor recommended a complete bed rest since the stress of her work had almost made the baby's life in danger. I haven't heard from Nicole since then,..until now of course, and now I'm so happy for them

"Anyways I gotta go I'm already late for work, bye" she walked towards my direction and gave me a quick goodbye hug

"By the way M, in case Emily and I got home pretty late,.can you tell mom and dad that we went on a roadtrip together" I told her as calm as possible. Because honestly I was freaking out.

Yeah, yeah some of you might be thinking. (So, why are you freaking out your just taking her on a roadtrip?, Big Deal dude). But hey after what happened last night, it made me realize that she was just not a pretty face,...she's also kind. And I want to know her better.

"Ohkay, no probs" Melissa said with a playful at the same time mysterious smile. Which was so annoying

"Hey" I pionted my forefinger at her "I'm just trying to make it up to her nothing special"

"Sure? Nothing special? Nothing you want to tell me?" She teased

"M,..I told you there's nothing special about this" I said in a anniyed tone

"Okay fine, bye" she held her hands in surrender and left the house. I was left alone in the living room still sitting on the couch.

Damn, I almost forgot,.I still have to make breakfast. I stood up from the couch and headed towards the kitchen. I paused for a moment and turned towrds the living room. I realized the deafening silence that filled the room was so boring, I wanted to start the morning with a blast. I connected my phone to the speaker and played the only 1D song in my phone Teenage Dirtbag. I am not a fan of 1D to be honest. I'm more into 5 SOS music jam, but I also like 1D's taste in music. And besides I'm pretty sure all the girls loves 1D including Emily I guess? I set the volume to 30 and started to make waffles for breakfast
