Emily's POV

"Fucking shit!!" I screamed and scrambled out of my bed as quickly as possible.

Thatr really big, fat, brown, disgusting creature that was crawling it's way to me was a freaking spider. God I'd rather be chased a rattlesnake than a spider anyday.

This is how it all went down

When I was still in 6th my teacher decided that it would be an amazing idea to go on a field trip. Yey! I was so excited. Turns out it wasn't the kind of trip that I thought it would be.

We went over a few animals while our teacher blabber all kinds of facts about them. Everything was good. Until the part where we enter a room full of different kinds of spiders. There were small, big, furry, and ughh! They're just gross! I felt like I was going to explode anytime soon. So I fainted in the middle of  trip.

I wasn't myself when I woke up from that incident,..I was just on crack. I had nightmares about it and developed serious arachnophobia. I even have a specific person in the mansion to make sure no creepy spiders ever shows up in my sight. I just really despise them.

I hurriedly opened the door heading to the porch and closed the door shut. Shit what am I going to do now? I was pacing back and forth on the porch, brainstorming ideas on how to get rid of the spider.

I was becoming desperate now. I walked over to Logan's door and knocked.

"Logan,..psst Logan" I said knocking on the door "Logan wake-up!" I said more loudly this time. I was already banging my palms on his door to get him to wake up

"Logan!"

Logan's POV

"Logan!"

"Logan wake up!"

I woke up to Emily's voice and banging on my door. What could it possibly be this time? I got out of bed and opened the door.

As soon as I opened the door Emily went in and shut it close. Her she looks like somethings bothering her, bigtime.

"Emily what's wrong?" I asked

"Shhhh" she said putting her finger over her lip. She keeps on looking out my window as if someones been chasing her or something.

"What the happening?" I asked once again. I said as I approached her as she turned to face me.

"Sshh,.keep it down you'll wake the others" she said clamping her hands on my mouth.

"Huh?" Okay now I'm really confused. What the heck is she saying?

"Okay wait, slow down, can you at least tell me what the bloody hell is going on?" I removed her hands from my mouth and furrowed my eyebrows

"There's a spider in my room, an-and it's a big spider, a-a big fat spider" she stammered "I'm afraid that maybe it'll bite me an-and cover me with it web an-and.."

"Why are you so afraid? You're bigger than the spider, just go back to sleep" I yawned. God I'm still so sleepy

"Logan, help me find it I can't sleep!" She said her expression was so tense and scared at the same time.

I didn't say a word and heaved a big sighed. I can't believe a girl like her would be so afraid with just a single spider.

"Please just do it, please" she said looking me with such pleading eyes.
How could I possibly resist?

"Fine" I said and I headed to her room while she followed me hiding behind my back.

*****

"Nope nothing here" I said looking under the table.

"Are you sure?" She asked hiding under her blanket

"Emily I've been searching for 30 minutes already there's nothing here" I moved towards her bed and lifted the blanket so I could see her face.

"I don't care, your not stopping unless that fat brown creepy -" she demanded

My eyes locked onto a creature on behind Emily "spider" I continued her sentence and pointed at the teddy bear behind her.

Emily looked at the direction I was pointing to.

She completely freaked and jumped into my arms. I was caught off gaurd by her sudden leap so I lost my balance.

Next thing I know is that we were on the floor. I opened my eyes and directly stared into her dark eyes. I could feel her body pressed againts mine. For a moment I forgot about the spider, and all that I could see was her. Only her, nothing else. Dang, she looks so cute and pretty when she's scared

"Logan the spider kill it" Emily said slapping my chest, bringing me back to the real world.

"Ouch" I groaned. She immediately got to her feet and helped me recover my balance. I slowly approach the teddy bear and took it gently so that the spider wouldn't move.

I took the teddy bear oitside with me on the porch. Shakes the teddy bear and voila'! Adios itsy bitsy spider!

"Problem solved" I handed her the teddy bear with a smile. She took the teddy bear from me and silence occupied that room.

"Um,.I should probably go to sleep now" I smirked and headed for the door.

"Wait" she called out

I spun around to face her and raised my brows. She stood on her tip-toes and wrapped her arms around me.

"Thank you, I'd don't know what I'd do without you" she said with gratitude

I hugged her tightly. Her face buried in my chest as I ran my hands through her hair

"No problem"
