Too soon?

When I walked out of the school I was skipping to where Alex was.

He was laughing at me as I was skipping.

But of course when I was skipping I tripped over someone's foot and fell right on my face.

Oh , who I wonder did that.

Abigail.

The witched grinch from a crossed

the land.

No other than my worst enemy.

She laughs at me as I'm on the ground scowling at her.

She's such a witch. She walks away from me but only ending it with a kick to my ribs and finally walks away.

A girl runs to my safety.

I had no idea who she was. Where she came from and why she would help me but she did.

"Ar- are you okay!?!?" she says.

She helps me up and looks me up and down to see if I'm okay.

At the corner of my eye I see Alex running over. He also looks at me with concern but doesn't bother me and the girls conversation.

"I'm fine, thanks for helping me." I smile at her and she smiles back.

"No problem. I'm Maggie. Whats your name?"

"I'm Riley." I shake her hand and she shakes it back.

"Nice to meet you, do you need a ride." she asks.

I smile at her. "I already have a ride with this guy. " I point over to where Alex is. He waves at Maggie and continues on listening to our conversation.

"Oh.. okay.. do you want to get together sometime??"

I smile at her. "That would be awesome, when would you want to get together?"

"Uhh, Thursday?" she replies.

I jump up and down. "That would be awesome!!" I laugh and hug her. she laughs at me and hugs me back.

"Until then!" I say

She smiles. "Until then!"

I walk back with Alex to his car.

It. was. so. beautiful.

I never call a car beautiful, but this one deserved it!

I look at awe at his car and he winks at me.

"Like what you see?" he says

I laugh.

"Ya it's beautiful." He laughs at me and starts the car.

😊10 min later😊

"Where are we?" i say

Of course since I don't have a good direction of where my house is we got lost.

Hurray for Riley being idiotic!!

HIP HIP HURRAY!!

We really were lost, and Alex wasn't to happy he was worried about me and freaking out over how much gas we have and la te da te la.

He's such a winer.

But I still like him.

Again.. Bad Riley!

Alex's POV

We're lost. We are totally lost.

I wish I was smarter and let Maggie take her home.

But I still want that girl.

She shall be mine.

I was turning in weird directions until Riley interfered.

"Here it is!"

She says

She's got such a pretty voice.

I stop the car. Shut off the engine and we both sit in silence.

She looks over at me and smiles.

"Thanks for taking me home." she replies.

I smile back at her.

"No problem. Anytime for you."

I see her blush and get out of the car.

I wink at her.

"See you later, Ry."

I say.

She looks at me weirdly. "Did you just give me a nickname?"she says

I laugh at her. "yup."

She looks at me and smiles. "I like that."

She turns around and walks to her house.

Maybe the nickname was a little too soon.

But I'm glad I did it.

Shes my Ry.
