Chapter 31
Cheater.
Riley's POV
"Wait. WHAT?!" I say.
Maggie, was telling me things she heard at school when I ran out.
As you can see, its pretty bad.
"Yep. I'm telling the truth." Maggie says popping the p on yep.
"So-so they were saying h-he was ch-cheating on m-me?" I say trying to push the tears back.
"Yep. It seems that he and Abigail have been texting each other without you knowing. That's what I heard." Maggie says.
I look at her sadly an start twiddling my thumbs trying to push back the tears.
"Come here." Maggie says holding her arms out.
I willingly give in and cuddle into Maggie's arms and start crying.
I've been crying a lot lately haven't I?
I need a life.
Alex's POV
"Hey honey? You need to get out of bed, you've been like this for days." My mom says.
I grunt and flip the pillow over my head.
"I'm fiiinnnneeee." I say.
"No. You're not." My mom says flipping over all of my blankets.
"MOM!" I yell.
"GET OUT OF BED." My mom screeches and rushes out of the room flabbergasted.
Why am I acting like this?
Riley.
I need her. All of this guilt and pain is building up inside of me for what I did.
I need to tell her.
She was my medicine, my cure.
But, I lost her.
I hop out of bed and grab a sweatshirt and jeans.
I need to see her.
Today's the day.
