Unfinished business

Once again I am walking home alone. Drunk, cold and lonely.

The stars are gone, the big city holding the power to make them disappear. Hidden in plain sight. Like me. Gone in the midst of the masses, light shining too bright to leave vision for the small soul of mine.

Maybe my heart resembles the single stars, thrown carelessly on the dark background. Pieces I can't seem to fathom into constellations. They don't match and I don't match and the puzzle won't be complete.

Maybe I'm just another unfinished business.

This is dedicated to Rapunzel2013 because she is totally amazing and has given so much support to this collection of my weird drabbles! xx
