"Today was a disaster" Hannah said sitting on the couch

I stared at the project. "Yup"

I looked at the time 8:56. We were at the hospital for that long

"I have to go home now. I have an English test tomorrow and I don't wanna fail" Hannah said fixing her things

"Sure. We'll just continue this if you can come back" I said putting the project aside

"Mhhm" she replied, she went to the front door. "Bye"

"Bye" I said. I heard the door closed

My stomach growled. "Well I'm hungry"

I went to the pantry and looked for something to eat. I held up bread and PB&J. "This will do"

I sat at the counter and I saw a note it said 'Hi honey, I'm going to a business trip for a month. I'm going to come home ASAP don't worry and there's 300 dollars on the counter. Spend it wisely, if you need more just call me. From mom'. I looked at the back of it. There was 300 attached to it. I took it and placed it in my wallet

I sighed deeply. Mom always has business trips. I rarely see her

After eating my PB&J I went to sleep but first phone

I took out my phone and went to contacts

Me: goodnight melon 🍈
Hannah🍉: I'm not sleeping yet but night 🌊🌊
Me:why waves?
Hannah🍉:🍋🍐🍏🍊🍅🍑🍉🍎🍓🍒 (assorted fruits)

Hannah🍉: night
Me: NIGHT!!💤

I quickly checked social media if anything new happened and there wasn't anything new. I charged my phone and carefully laid down on my bed HA! I'm kidding I jumped on my bed and DARKNESS!!! took over me.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I heard the loud sound of my alarm clock and my body went all weird. I ended up on the floor and my head decided to go on a date with my night stand but ended up getting hit my night stand. I clutched my head. "JESUS!! My head!"

Then realization hit me. School. "Oh school YAYYY!!" I said sarcastically

I went in the bathroom and took a bath

After taking I bath I went to the kitchen to eat. Duh‼️

I checked my pantry and saw one cereal box. That'll do. I took out my bowl and started to shove my cereal and milk together. No I didn't do that. I'm just messin' with ya

I looked at the kitchen sink with satisfaction for some reason till' my phone dinged. I grabbed it and looked at my lock screen

New message hmmmm...

From Hannah😘: hey I'm at your door. Can you open it?

I heard three knocks at the door. "Coming!!" I yelled. I brought my bowl cuz yea...

I opened the door

"GOOOOOOD MORNINGGG!" She said happily with birds chirping behind her. Hannah could replace Snow White if she could. I'm serious. Hannah could go to school even if she had like five tests and still be happy in the morning with animals trailing behind her. Okay not all animals but birds or whatever. Me on the other hand I don't give two tosses about the morning.

"Too early" I said not amused

"Cheer up buttercup" she pinched my cheek then sat on the chair in the living room

I ate a spoonful of cereal. "When I'm done we can go" I said with cereals in my mouth

"What!?" She said confused

"I said when I'm done we can go" I said putting my bowl in the sink

"Oh okay" she said

I started washing the bowl and looked at the time 6:50

Hannah spread out on the sofa

I went to get my bag and shoes. "Okay let's go" I said while tying my shoes

She opens the door. "Okay LEGGO!" She yelled

When we arrived at school when our principal came up to us.

"Good morning you two!" Principal Rose said

"Good morning Miss. Rose" we said

"Can I ask you two a favor?" She asked

"Sure" Hannah said

"Okay. There is a new student in my office and I want you two to give her a tour of our school and help her when she's in trouble. Can you two do that?" She queried

"Yes we can" I said

"Great! Come follow me and I'll introduce you to her" she said

We follow her to the office. She opens the door and we saw a girl with her head down. "I'm back!" Miss. Rose said

The girl looked up then stood up

Principal Rose put her hand on the girls shoulder

"Would you mind introducing yourself?" Miss. Rose asked the girl

She made eye contact with us

"Hi. My name is Denise..." Denise said while she pulled out her hand for us to shake
