"Wake up, Brit!"

Arthur jerked awake and shouted in surprise at the sudden voice. Alfred only groaned and buried his head under a pillow.

"Five more minutes..."

Arthur sighed, relaxing onto the bed. "Bloody hell."

"Come on, Arthur! Answer me, damnit!"

"Alright!" Arthur hissed, rubbing his eyes, then crawled out of the bed. He grabbed Alfred's jacket and shrugged it on, then picked up his shirt. He held down the button. "What the fuck do you want, Beilshmidt."

Gilbert sighed in relief when he heard Arthur. "Well, two things. One, I think someone hit the button on this thing, so I got to jerk off to listening to you two fuck-" Alfred burst out laughing and Arthur's whole body was hot with embarrassment, "-just kidding, I didn't jerk off. That would be weird; jerking off to two of your friends going at it. That's disgusting. I have a wife and a kid. As soon as I heard what you guys were doing, I turned it off so Lizzy didn't hear and so my kid wouldn't be traumatized, even though I'm sure he wouldn't understand because he's not even that old. He hardly just started crawling. Anyway, the second thing was, Agema just got here and is looking for me. He has several people here, most of them lower ranking. So, I think you and I could squeeze in about fix or six take downs."

Arthur groaned, rubbing his face. "You are an arsehole, you know that, right? And who all am I getting today? I only have two bullets left, so five or six is out of the question."

Gilbert groaned. "That's so unawesome that you forgot that you now have access to everything Agema has access to. I listened to every conversation you had-"

"That's not creepy."

"Yeah yeah, shut up Al. Anyway, since Agema trusts you and thinks that you're in love with him- he's actually talking about it right now with Eliza -he's totally given you access to everything he has. You can waltz right into the armory, and no one will give a shit or question you. If they do, you could just say 'I like firearms' or some shit and they'll shrug it off." Gilbert chuckled, then sneered. "That bitch is talking about my baby!"

Alfred sat up then shuffled closer to Arthur. "Wait, if Agema is there, how can he not hear you or notice you at all?"

The Brit could practically see the cocky smirk on the Prussian's face. "How can you be alive right now, my friend?"

The cyborg touched the metal plate on his chest, then shrugged. "You know, you're way fucking smarter than I ever thought. Now I'm not so surprised that you're the tech guy."

"Hey! You stupid fucker, I could totally disable you for that! But I won't, because that would be unawesome of me and you're a friend. Anyway, go get some more ammo, Captain Kirk, and let's blow some heads." Gilbert then cut off his line.

Arthur blinked, then turned to Alfred with a confused expression. "'Captain Kirk'? What the hell does that mean?"

~

"It has to be something related to my last name. 'Captain Kirk'... Kirkland. Right? Am I right?"

Alfred snickered, patting Arthur's head. Arthur swatted his hand away and pouted. "It definitely has something to do with your last name, but the name is from a tv show and the movies. You know, 'Star Trek'?"

Arthur blinked, furrowing his brows. "Don't you mean 'Star Wars'? There's no Captain Kirk in 'Star Wars'. I'd know, you've only forced me to watch it twenty times."

The cyborg laughed, hugging Arthur. "I forgot! You passed out in the beginning of the first movie, and you read throughout each episode we watched together!"

"Then it must have been incredibly boring." Arthur scoffed, shoving Alfred off. "'Captain Kirk'... It sounds like an insult."

Alfred rolled his eyes, grinning brightly. "It's not! If anything, the dude's complimenting you. Cap'n Kirk is badass."

The Brit raised a brow up at Alfred. "So do you think I'm badass?"

"Of course, babe." Alfred slid his arm around Arthur's waist, pulling him closer, then sweetly kissed him. "More so than Captain Kirk. Now, the armory is just right around the corner, Captain."

Arthur smiled, his arms wrapping themselves around Alfred. "You bloody git."

~

"Why is taking them down so slowly exhausting?" Arthur curled up against Alfred's side.

The American hummed. "I don't know. It used to be for me, but now-thanks to Gil-I'm almost never tired. The only-five-hours-of-sleep thing is really working for me. I can get more done, and I finally wake up before you and get to watch you sleep. You know, you don't snore as much as I had thought you did."

Arthur scoffed and smacked Alfred's chest, causing the younger to laugh, but Arthur hissed and drew his hand back to himself. Alfred noticed and hushed himself. "What's wrong?"

"I..." Arthur sighed, burying his face in Alfred's neck. "I hit the metal plate... I keep forgetting that's there..."

"Oh." Alfred looked away, tightening his hold around Arthur's waist. "I... I forget, too... I'm reminded easily, but I feel so alive being right next to you..."

Arthur hummed, grip tightening on Alfred's shirt. "You just seem so... You. Before you died. I'm scared that I won't be able to look past the fact that you died and are now half technology. You were built as a weapon... I'm scared."

Alfred rolled onto his side and squeezed Arthur. "I love you, Arthur. I love you more than anything. But if you can't be with me because you're scared of the technology, I understand."

"I'm not scared of the technology, you wanker!" Arthur hit Alfred, softly sobbing into his chest. "I'm scared of remembering that you died one day and will never want to see you again!"

"Alright." Alfred sat up, bringing Arthur up with him to sit in his lap. "I'll just have to remind you that I still love you. I'll promise you that I won't ever die again- that I won't ever leave again. I'll hold you and remind you that I'm still kind of alive by the miracle that is Gilbert's so-called 'awesomeness'." Arthur laughed softly, sniffling and rubbing away his tears. "We'll get out of here, we'll live together again, get married, adopt kids-"

"Wait, what?" Arthur jerked back, looking at Alfred with large eyes. "Did... You you just say..?" Alfred smiled softly and nodded. Arthur gasped, joyful tears filling his eyes, his hands slapped over his mouth. "Oh my- Alfred!"

Said man chuckled as he pulled a small ring out of his back pocket. Arthur sobbed, his eyes glued to the simple, silver band with a small Diamond embedded in the silver. "You will marry me... Won't you?"

Arthur laughed, tossing his arms around Alfred's neck and nuzzling his face in Alfred's chest. "You bloody git! It's 'will you marry me!' Not whatever in the bloody world you just said! And where in the world did you get that ring?"

Alfred grinned. "It's my family's heirloom. It's passed down to the eldest son to give to their fiancé when they propose. So, will you marry me, Arthur Kirkland?"

The Brit nodded eagerly, holding up his hand and grinning as Alfred slid the ring on his finger. "Yes..."
