"What so you want from me?" I ask nervously.

"I am a close friend of Sebastian." He says.

"W-what is a close friend of Sebastian doing at my job, punching people to death?" I ask, my tone laced with utter horror.

"I Sebastian called me and asked to look after you. I didn't know why he was calling me out of hiding until he said he got a girl pregnant."

"Out of hiding? Why were you hiding?"

"I'll tell you, once you get in the car."

"No way am I getting in car where there's a dead body in the trunk nor am I getting in car with a killer!" I exclaim.

"I did not kill him. I rendered him unconscious."

"I don't care, I don't know you! You can "render me unconscious" as well!" I yell.

"Ugh, why must you make this so complicated." He groans as he takes his phone out and dials.

"Yeah, it's me. Um, you're girlfriend here just got attacked and she's-" He's interrupted when a loud voice that I recognize as Sebastian's yells.

"SHE WAS ATTACKED?"

"Calm down would you? I'm here, protecting her like you asked. Now could you just tell her she could trust me and to get in the damn car?" I watch as he passes me the phone, a condescending smile on his face.

"Hello?"

"Amelia, are you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine, but could you tell me why the hell someone just attacked me and why there you're close friends with a murderer?" I exclaim in a quiet voice so this Joseph won't hear me.

"I'm not a murderer!" He yells anyways.

"He's not a murderer Amelia." Sebastian replies in a tired voice.

"He just killed someone!"

"I did not kill anyone!"

"He did not kill anyone."

"How do you know? You're not here."

"Exactly Amelia, I'm not there so Joseph is there to watch over you. You can trust him now please get in the car."

"Why is he watching over me? What are you not telling me Sebastian?"

"Just trust him. I will tell you everything you need to know when I get back."

"But-"

"Amelia." He says sternly.

"Fine, but if I end up in the Hudson River it's all your fault." I say before handing the phone back to Joseph who's trying not to smile.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I know. Alright I'll see you then." Joseph says into the phone before hanging up the phone. He looks at me expectantly. "Well?"

"Ugh, you better not kill me."

"Yeah, yeah just get in the car."

We drive silently for a while when I suddenly remember something the other man said.

"That man, the one you killed-"

"For the last time I didn't kill him!"

"Fine, the man you "rendered unconscious", he said something about Sebastian getting a human pregnant i.e me. What did he mean by that?" I ask Joseph.

He glances at me before returning to the road.

"What has Sebastian told you about his life?"

"Other than the fact that he own a company, plans on moving out here and is friends with a girl names Callia, nothing." I say, beginning to get annoyed at the lack of information Sebastian has given me about his life.
