"Lia!" Vanessa exclaimed.

"What?" I exclaimed back.

"What do you mean you think your water just broke?"

"Well it's either that or I just peed myself and I didn't feel the need to pee. So, yeah."

Vanessa's eyes traveled down to where the huge, embarrassing, wet stain stood on my pants.

"Oh my God! We gotta get our of here!" She exclaimed hysterically as she ran to the door and started banging, she even tried kicking it open but before her foot could touch the door, it was pulled open so hard that it hit the wall across from it.

Killian stood on the other side, blood staining his clothes which were ripped at random, exposing torn skin.

"Oh Thank God!" Vanessa exclaimed, relieved as she threw herself at him and began kissing his face.

"It's good to see you too." He said with a chuckle before kissing her back.

I tried not to interrupt their little reunion but after a while I started feeling contractions and practically screamed at them to stop sucking each other's lips off.

"I am about to have a fucking baby and I need to find my husband!"

"Oh right! I forgot, sorry." Vanessa said sheepishly as she removed herself from her boyfriend's hold, only to be pulled back into his arms. If I wasn't experiencing pain right now, I'd say that these two were back on good terms.

"What do you mean you're about to have a baby?" Killian asked nervously.

"The fuck do you think I mean? My water fucking broke and if we don't get the hell out of here this baby will come out." I practically barked at him.

"But you weren't supposed to have the baby for two more weeks!"

"Well he wants to come early!"

"This isn't good." Killian said as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Hey," Vanessa said as she realized something. "Where is everyone? What's going on out there?"

"Fighting. It's bloody out there." He answered truthfully, his eyes staring into me.

"Where's Sebastian? Why didn't he come to get us?" I asked nervously, trying not to let the evil images of what might have happened to him invade my mind.

"The alpha chased him into the woods. He knew where to find you but told me to get you instead."

"That's not good. If they chased him into the woods!" I exclaimed as a panic rose in me.

"Joseph and Callia followed after them. I was hoping to get you to the car and follow them too but now that you're going into labor I think it's best I just take you all to the hospital." He said as he thought carefully about our next move.

BOOM

The three of us looked at each other when the door at the end of the hall fell down with a loud sound, revealing a tall, burly man with a cruel scar on the left side of his face that ran through his eye all the way down his cheek and stopped at the top of his lip. I could feel the fear radiating from Vanessa. My heart was nearly out of my chest. I looked over at Killian but he just stood there casually, a ghost of a smirk on his face.

"Come to play goliath?" He said in a teasing voice.

The man snarled at him, saliva dripping out of the corner of his mouth. He took one step towards us before Killian sort of half shifted and ran at the huge man, clawing through his shirt and skin and meat so that we could literally see his ribcage. The man howled in pain as he retreated backwards. Killian tore through his back when the man turned around before taking out a gun from his boot and shooting it at the man's head.
