*Joshua's pov* Colleen and I are staying at the Ballinger home for a few days. We needed a vacation off of work and all the fun stuff. Mr. Ballinger is making a barbecue for the whole family, Colleen asked most of her family if they could come tonight and they all agreed. Tim is making stake and potatoes, and Colleen is making some kale chips and Brussel sprouts in the kitchen. "baby lets go for a romantic walk on the beach later." I ask walking into the kitchen. "yea!" She says like she is a four year old getting ice cream. I smile and gently hug her from behind. I softly kiss her ear and head back to the living room.
After dinner, we let the family know that Colleen and I are going on a walk together since we haven't in a while. Which isn't a lie, it's been quite a while since we went on a walk just me and her. They let us go and we drive to a beach near where we got married. We get out of the car and Colleen grabs my hand. Our fingers intertwine and it's one of the best feelings ever. We walk along the shore line and we caught the sunset at a perfect timing. She stares up at the sky like its a brand new puppy. I look at her and smile to myself. She so perfect, beautiful, amazing, funny, cute, special and she's all mine. I think to myself. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure this isn't a really really good dream. We decide to just sit and enjoy the sunset for a bit. She cuddles into me and I wrap my arm around her. The best sunset I've ever witnessed.
