When the orphaned Jeonghan was taken in by the Lady of the Choi household, his dreams of having a family were fulfilled. However, Jeonghan found himself rejected by the Lady's three handsome sons, and it was made very clear to him that he was nothin...
'What's up anyway? That he would especially come to school and ask me to meet up with him afterwards.' Jeonghan thought as he took off his school uniform. He was now in his bedroom after talking with Miju at the park and went straight home when he saw the time was already late.
"What should I wear...?" He wondered as he looked through his closet.
"Oh.. That's right. The outfit auntie bought for me last time."

After putting on the outfit, he looked at the clock only to see it striked 5:45 p.m.
"Oh no! I'm late!" He panicked. He took his bag and rushed out of the door, "What am I going to doooooo?! Jisoo is going to be mad for sure!"
...
The time was 6:21 p.m. when Jisoo looked at his watch. He was getting pretty impatient but shortly after, Jeonghan came running while panting and gasping for air.
"So-sorry.. I'm late."
"Jeonghan! How long were you planning on making me wait?!"
Jeonghan closed his eyes and begged, "I'm sorry! Forgive me!"
"That outfit..." Jisoo stopped arguing as he eyed Jeonghan head to toe.
"You don't like it?" Jeonghan scratched his head, "Auntie bought for me last time. Is it too much? I didn't know where we were going so..."
"No, it suits you very well. It's cute." Jisoo came closer to Jeonghan and patted his back gently, "Come one, let's go."
Jeonghan's face turned a bright shade of red, 'Jisoo said it was cute...'
...
-In a Cafe-
"He's my boyfriend." Jisoo stated as he placed his arm on Jeonghan's shoulder and pulled Jeonghan in close to him.
Jeonghan looked over his shoulder at Jisoo's face and gasped, 'What?' They were standing across a table of 4 girls, who have a confused look. Soon whispers were heard from the table like, "Wow! They're so pretty!" and "Who is he?"
"Jisoo...?"
"Shhh, don't say anything." He replied, in hushed tones.
"What? That's it? I'm so disappointed in you, Jisoo. You have no taste. Is his IQ above 200?" One of the girls said with furrowed eyebrows.
And so the conversation followed by another girl with a stern face, "That's right. Don't you hate stupid people? Then what does this boy have that we don't? He isn't much to look at, but maybe she's really smart."
'W-w...What's with these girls?!' Jeonghan thought, as he gritted his teeth, annoyance with the whole situation.
"Don't do this to us, Jisoo-oppa..."
"Can't you give us another chance? None of us will give up unless you choose someone out of us."
"Yeah, it's really hard to find girls like us now. No matter whether in looks, brains and family background, we're all better than him."
"That's why you should-"
"Didn't you hear what I said? He's the one I want!" Jisoo said in a serious voice, interrupting the girls as he suddenly pulled Jeonghan in his embrace, wrapping his arms tightly around Jeonghan. On the other side, Jeonghan stood there unmoving, obviously shocked at Jisoo's sudden action.
The girls went speechless and cried, "Jisoo-oppa, we're only trying to.."
"How about this?" Jisoo took out a box from his pocket and opened it, revealing an identical ring, "Actually I planned on giving this to Jeonghan today. But since you're all here, why don't you be witnesses for us?"
"What?!"
"Promise rings!" The girls stood up abruptly almost losing their balances as their eyes and mouth went wide open.
"Jeonghan, this is a token of how I feel about you. Give me you hand. I'll put it on for you." Jeonghan was still not moving from the place so Jisoo had to take Jeonghan's own hand and slid it onto his ring finger. Then he held Jeonghan's hand high and showed the ring finger to the girls.
"You see now? I have a boyfriend, so please don't bother me anymore. Thanks for being our witnesses. Be sure to tell the other girls too." Jisoo smirked, feeling proud of himself.
"Then we're leaving first. I hope I don't see you faces again. Come on, Jeonghan. Let's go." He grabbed Jeonghan's wrist and led him out from the cafe.
Once out, then did Jeonghan realized that he was not in the cafe anymore. So they pulled their hands away as Jeonghan walked behind Jisoo.
Jisoo sighed, "Wow, that was easier than I thought it was going to be! I should have done this sooner! Those girls were hard to get rid of. Just brushing them off with a few words didn't work. Most girls give up after the first brush off."
'First brush off?' Jeonghan thought. 'Ooh, I guess he means what he did with Miju.' He chuckled, looking at the exhausted Jisoo.
"Jisoo, if you're so popular with the girls, why don't you just go out with one of them? They're all very pretty and smart looking."
Jisoo turned his body around to face Jeonghan. There's a moment of silence as they were both staring at each other's eyes. Then after a few seconds, Jisoo avert his gaze in a different direction and sighed, "It's... too soon."
"No, it's not. I hear that even elementary school students date now." Jeonghan said confidently.
"Oh, yeah! The ring!" Jeonghan looked at his ring finger. He then tried to pull off the ring but started to panic when it was stuck. Even after a few powerful yanks, the ring didn't budge from him.
'Weird..'
"I can't get it off. What should I do?" Jeonghan frowned.
"Keep it then!" Jisoo replied before walking away, leaving the horrific Jeonghan behind.
