Uhmmm... Surprise! 😳

So... here's a trial story. If you decide to read, please bear with me. Hehe Think of this as my practice story. :)

A MaiChard fan fiction set in an alternate universe, where Maine, living in New York, unexpectedly became a single mom to Sophie, while Alden is the Philippines' Pambansang Bae.

This plot swirled in my head for the past maybe 7 or 8 months. I wrote lines and notes and conversations but never really shared them. I have zero ounce of confidence in my body.

When I finally had the guts to write proper chapters, the characters in my head decided to tell me their entire story. That sounded crazy, I know. But yes, they talked to me and they won't shut up about their lives and so I had to write them down.

Still, I hesitated to share it with anyone.

One lunch break, instead of actually eating lunch, I ended up writing the first draft of the prologue. I had a couple of friends (*cough* Ninna and Ruthie *cough*) beta it. So after their feedback, recommendations, and guidelines, I revised my prologue and wrote more chapters. That was when I felt a tiny hint of confidence to publish. One thing they both told me that I will never forget: write and publish for yourself and because you are happy about it. So after much deliberation, here we are. Kebs na if anyone would be interested to read and follow the story.

So anyway, comments, suggestions, concerns, violent reactions, and grammatical/typo corrections are all welcome. I also welcome suggestions regarding the story, although I have to tell you now that these characters have a life of their own and they basically already told me how this story will end. So there.
