"Mel, Mel. Wake up come on we've got school." I awoke to my brother shaking me awake and screaming in me ear.
"Urgh." I roll over and push him off the bed and he lands with a thud. "Oww...really?" He complains. "Yep, come on Stiles you know I'm not a morning person." I point out sleepily that this is the fifth time he's woken me up like that. "It's really annoying." I mumble as I get out of bed, my nice warm bed.
"What's today anyway?" I asks as I go to my wardrobe and start picking out my clothes for today. "Friday." Stiles answers from behind me. "Oh, right." I grab a pair of black jeans and my blue plaid shirt. But I search frantically through my wardrobe trying to find the item of clothing that was missing. "Where is it? Where is it?". "Where's what?" Stiles asks looking into my wardrobe from the side. "My jacket! It's not in here.".
"Oh that's in the laundry. Don't worry it's clean and dry." My brother smiles as he chucks me my small boots I normally wear everyday. "Thank god." I smiles as I head to the bathroom to get changed.
"Right." I say looking into my mirror reflection. I was changed and was now going to try and tame my mess of brown hair. Some how I manage to complete that task and was putting on some light make up.
"Perfect. Now.." I walk out into my room and to my desk. In no time I spot what I'm looking for. The blue gem glistened when it was hit with the sun light coming in from the window. I picked it up, un-clipped the silver chain and carefully put it on. I went back to the bathroom mirror to see if it was on right. And the silver moon hung perfectly in the middle of my chest, the blue gem still glistened. "There." I state walking out to the laundry. And there on top of the dryer was my jacket. I quickly put it on and head to the kitchen, the smell of butter of toast drifts from the kitchen.
"Yumm..." I swing myself into the kitchen and straight to the toaster.
"Well finally how long does it take to get dressed." Stiles smiles handing me a plate of toast. "Hey I didn't take that long." I argue taking a seat the kitchen table. Stiles just roles his eyes and sits next to me.
We were soon finished our toast and driving to school. "I gotta stop by the station first, give this to dad." Stiles holds up a brown paper bag, obviously containing some food. "Ok then, I'll wait in the car." I reply as we turn into the station. "Ok, be back in a sec." With that Stiles jumps out of his jeep and heads to the front door.
I soon got bored, It was like 10 seconds, but I get bored easily. I swing my door open and jump out. I was walking up to the front door when I see and a car I hadn't seen here before. And it wasn't bad, I think I remember seeing somewhere from my childhood but I couldn't place where, it was A black 67 Chevy Impala.
"Nice." I walk towards it, wondering if the owner was any where near by so I could strike up a conversation. As I near the car the side doors open and three men walk out.
Two were wearing suits, like FBI but they were totally fake and the third had a white shirt, black pants, a tie and a tan trench coat over the top.
One of the first two was tall as hell and his hair was long and medium brown. The second was shorter and had darker short brown hair. The third dude in the trench coat, he was about the same height as the second and had short black hair. They were all walking towards the car. As I got near I could hear some of what they were talking about.
"Murders." The short suited one said, "No connections." Came from the tall one and "A monster" from the trench coated one. I froze up. They were here because of the murders, and all that talk about monster, meant they had to be hunters, especially with those fake suits and their badges were probably fake too. But they had no connections, I laughed to myself. Not as smart as my brother, we had a couple connections, like most of the murder victims weren't human.
I looked them over again and notice some strange about the trench coated man. I couldn't tell what it was I needed to get closer, so I did.
"Hey!" I shouted running over "Nice ride, she your's?". "Yeah she's mine." says the shorter suited one, "Cool, hey what brings you guys to beacon hills?" I ask shoving my hands into my jacket pocket. All three pull out and FBI badge.
"FBI ma'am, investigating the murders that have occurred around here lately." The taller one answers looking serious, I nod my head. "Can I see your badges." I asks holding out my hand and soon all three badges are piled in. I read each one separately and each time my smile gets wider, they were definitely fake.
"Well then Agents Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Bob Seger." I add the smallest bit of sarcasm into my voice as I handed back their badges "I hope you find who you're looking for." I pause "or what." I smiled running back to my brother's blue jeep, leaving them looking confused. I was a little confused myself because those two brown haired guys looked strangely familiar, not like I've that exact face, more like I've seen it but it was younger. Whatever, I was right about one thing, something was weird with that 'Bob Seger' trench coat dude. I don't know what, but he wasn't human, but he wasn't anything I knew of. It was as if an energy was radiating off him. The energy was almost like my own. The only thing I knew for saw was that he was powerful.
