Mel's P.O.V
It was black again. I didn't understand what had happened, all I did was say Sammy. But why on earth did that....
Colours flash before my eyes, memories long since locked away. But now were finally coming back.
That day, the day right before everything went wrong. All that had happened that day was the usual. Dad went to work, Mum stayed and her and Dean.....Dean?
That FBI, his names Dean too, Ha funny. He looks so familiar. Then it clicked.
I had seen him before he was just, younger and such a dick. Oh wait I don't think that changed.
He couldn't be could he. Why didn't I remember. Why did I forget?
Then I saw something else, a rainy night, a black car and little me.
The car ride to Beacon Hills.
The ambience was a deadly silence for a while before dad finally spoke up.
"You are to get out of the car once we stop Mel, you are to never repeat your last name and it would be best to forget about this family. Got it. Forget!" His voice growing angered by the second. "Yes dad." I mumbled. His words echoing in my mind. 'Forget, forget, forget.' whispering. I got out of the car as instructed when the movement stopped, then everything faded from my mind, like it was residing into a locked room. The only thing I held onto was my name. Mel Winchester. But now that door was open and I could remember everything, from happy times to the not so happy times. And now I had the answer to the one annoying question.
Why was Dean familiar? Well because...
"There my brothers" I bolted up right, startling everyone in the room, including myself. Stiles the most, I think he nearly had a heart attack and just managed to move his head before I whacked it.
"What was that?" Dean asked regaining his poster.
"I remembered, I think it of been because or you two, seeing you again and then some memories slip out then the rest." I answered almost to quietly.
"What did you remember?" Stiles asks helping me stand up.
"My old family, all of it every memory and I remember my brothers."
"And? Who are they?" Scott asked entirely curious.I point simply at the two brothers. "It's obvious now. It's those two." I smile at their confused faces. "We don't even know you." Dean states rubbing his forehead.
"You do, you just don't remember." I paused and waited for a reply but I didn't get one so I continued. "It was my fault. My-Our dad. Told me to forget everything about him and his family. So I did, I willed it so much that my powers made it happen, but it was such a powerful outburst that it affected you two as well."Sam looked surprised andconfused.
And Dean just looked unconvinced.
"But I can give your memories back. If you want them." I held out my hand, waiting for their response.
"And Dean before you say it, she's not lying." Cas added standing up and coming to stand beside me. "When she went unconscious, the whole time before she woke up she was radiating something. Some sort of power. She can give you back what you lost when you were little. If you can't trust her, even after everything you've learned and all the evidence pointing to obvious. Trust me."And with those two last words, Dean's eyes softened and he held his hand out to me, and then Sam followed suit.
I took there hands in my hands and the turned to them one last time.
"Are you ready?"
And with two nods from their direction, something clicked and everything got instantly brighter. I could feel my eyes changing, blue to golden. The same golden colour left my hands and their eyes went wide. The golden light seemed to spread around us until we were engulfed.
"Don't stress out or it'll hurt you." I instructed.
"Oh wow, thanks for the heads up.", "Just shut up, we're nearly finished." And with that the final traces of the light leave and we're left standing there for second, and then we all fell."Mel!"
"Dean!"
"Dude!"
We had all fallen backward and luckily there was people there to catch us.
"Thanks Stiles." I leaned on his shoulder.
"Thanks Cas." I see Dean being lifted up by the angel.
And then there was Sam.
"Umm... Thanks. Scott was it?" Sam was the first standing again because his helper was a werewolf. "Yeah and I'm sorry I forgot you name name for a second. Sam right?" Scott asked stepping away from the hunter. "Yep."
"God that felt weird." Dean mumbled as Cas lead him to the couch, so he could sit down.
That was a good idea, I followed and left one cushion between us.
"You can say that again. I feel a little sick." I mumbled rolling my head on the back of the couch. Sam had come to sit between us and I looked at them both."So, care to enlighten me on your memory loss condition?"
Dean smirked at my predictable question.
"Well Mel Mary Winchester, I'd say that condition is no longer a problem."
