"Cassandra Severide!" yelled Kelly as he walked through the firehouse.

"Oh shit!" exclaimed Cass as she hid behind Luke Hermann.

"What did you do?" laughed Brooke as she sat down at the squad table.

"I may have uh gotten drunk last night and left my dad a voicemail, thinking he was Luke," admitted Cassandra, blushing.

Kelly stomped into the room, spotting Cassandra from behind Luke. He stepped towards the two of them, pointing his finger at them. Cass could feel the heat radiating from her father's body.

"You, in the Chief's office. Now!" growled Kelly before turning and heading back into the firehouse.

Cassandra sighed as she walked followed her father, watching Luke snicker. He sat down at the squad table as Brooke shot him a dirty look, along with Alex.

"What?" asked Luke with his classic smile.

"You're an ass," stated Brooke before standing up and heading to the ambulance to take stock.

"What was that all about?" questioned Luke, popping a handful of peanuts in his mouth.

"You! Brooke's right, you're an ass Luke. You just sleep with girl after girl, not caring about the damage you do to them in the process. Now, you've added my sister to that group of woman. I don't care if she acts like it's not bothering her that you slept with her and are acting like it never happened. Stay away from her, or I'll kick your ass," threatened Alex before getting up and heading towards the kitchen, leaving Luke in shock.

A few miles away at the district, Juliana and Skylar were chatting at their desks. It had been a slow day at the district and all they wanted to do was go home. Skylar just wanted to leave so she could see Carson.

"So you think Carson's going to purpose soon? I mean you guys have been together for nine years!" exclaimed Juliana as she was filling out paperwork for Jayden's school.

"I hope he does, but when you've been together this long it already feels like you're married. I mean it would be nice to have it solidified with a wedding and a certificate, but I just have to wait till he pops the question. Anyway, how's the kids?" asked Skylar, changing the subject.

"Jayden loves getting to go to daycare and hang out with Luna. It's hard to believe their seven already. Feels like just yesterday I was a pregnant teen," smiled Juliana, thinking back on the memory, "And Emerson, she's just the cutest thing ever. Nathan is so good with her and Jayden loves her. For a single mom of two kids, with two different baby daddies, I have a pretty great family."

Nathan Cooper was a green eyed, attractive doctor that Juliana met at Chicago Med. The two went out to drinks and the next thing Juliana knew, she was pregnant. Nathan was with her every step of the pregnancy and now he's a loving, caring father. Juliana smiled at the thought of her baby daddy and how good he is with her daughter.

"As long as you're happy," smiled Skylar as Kristen came running up the steps along with Danny.

Kristen was out of breath as she stood in the middle of the bullpen, a box in her hand. Inside was a little baby girl wearing only a thin onesie and a pink blanket. Andrius, Skylar, and Haley ran to Kristen's aid. Skylar carefully picked up the crying baby and began to rock her. Sergeant Corin Severide came walking out of her office, hearing all of the commotion.

"What's going on out here?" asked Corin, in a commanding voice.

"Kristen and I found this baby in a box outside the district. Someone must have dumped her here. There is a note in the box though," explained Danny as he handed the note over to his boss.

As Corin read the note, her eyes went wide. Everything looked at her with anticipation, wondering what was in the note. When she finally finished reading, Corin looked at the baby before looking over at Andrius.

"Andrius... this note says she's your daughter. Her name is Serenity," announced a surprised Corin.

"Are you sure?" questioned a shocked Andrius.

"The note goes on to explain how you have full custody, how she never wants to see her again, and how she's already signed away her rights," informed Corin before Andrius ripped the note from her hand.

Andrius Halstead,

This is our daughter, Serenity Mae Halstead. I thought I could handle being a mother but I can't. I've given up my parental rights because I don't want to see her ever again. You have full custody so you can do whatever you want with her. I'm sorry for having to do this.

September

Andrius couldn't believe it. He had a daughter. This little girl was his and she was... breath taking. It was love at first sight as Andrius looked down at his little girl in his arms.

"All the documents are in this box, she really is yours Andrius," smiled Skylar, looking at the little girl.

"Good," replied Andrius with a grin.

"Why don't we take her to the hospital to get check out?" suggested Skylar as she grabbed her coat and purse, "She's been sitting out in the cold for God knows how long. It's like ten degrees outside. We should get her checked just to be careful."

"You're right. Serg can I leave?" asked Andrius, looking over at Corin.

"Of course. Skye, go with him," smiled Corin.

"You guys can take Emerson's car seat from my car. Nathan's picking her up today so I don't need it," explained Juliana as Skylar nodded in understanding.

Skylar grabbed the carseat and buckled it into her car. Andrius put Serenity in it and climbed in the backseat with her. He was still in shock from everything that was happening. As Skylar drove she talked to Andrius. Ten minutes later they arrived at Chicago Med. Andrius walked up to the desk with Serenity in his arms.

"It's a long story, but my daughter was sitting out in the cold. I don't know how long though. Can you check her out?" asked Andrius, nervous.

"Of course," smiled Renee Lockwood, Maggie's daughter, "Go ahead and sit in the waiting room while I page Dr. Manning."

Andrius sat down and waited. Skylar was smiling and playing with the baby when Owen walked out, straighten his lab coat.

"Hey Owen! I didnt know you were back!" exclaimed Skylar as she jumped up and hugged him.

"I got back a few days ago. I'm working here until my next tour. Although Haley would like it if I just stayed here with her and Remi," sighed Owen.

"How is the wife and daughter?" asked Skylar with a serious tone.

"Haley's good. She's still loving working at the district, but she just wants me to stay here. Remi is gonna be in kindergarten this fall. I'm just happy to be back home with my family for a while."

"Well I'm glad you're back. We'll have to hang out soon. I'll let you get to work fixing Andrius' little girl."

Owen and Andrius walked away with Serenity, leaving Skylar alone. She decided to walk into the break room and wait for Carson to walk in. As she pulled open the door to the break room, she saw rose petals laying all over the floor and candles lit on the tables. Tears hit her cheeks as she slowly looked up to see Carson on one knee with a black box in his hand. He popped it open, revealing a gorgeous diamond ring.

"Skylar Severide, you are the first girl I ever fell in love with and I know you'll be the last. We've been together for 9 years and during those years we had our ups and downs, but overall we stayed together. Everytime things got rough we held on, we chose each other again and again. I couldn't imagine choosing anyone else to go through life with. So Skylar Athena Halstead Severide, will you marry me?"

"Yes."
