CHAPTER 4( A NEW TURN OF LIFE)

Kender's pov
I wake up feeling weak and pale, i tried to get up but it was useless.
I took a look at my skin holy soul!!!!!

My skin sank into my bones, you could see my bones clearly, the only thing that covered my bones was the burnt flesh.
I was so dissapointed,that jackson is still not out here looking for me. I started sobbing quietly, and looking at my flesh made me cry even more.

Jackson's pov
I looking for kender for now 5 hours!!!! My kender is nowhere to be seen. I just hope she's ok. Nothing else matters to me accept for my dear kender.

I was so tired and thirsty. It is 3:00 in the afternoon. My eyes were feeling heavy when suddenly something caught my eye. Metal room. There was a huge metal room with huge door.

With all my strength i ran towards the door. Kender are you there!!!!!! I yelled. I got no reply. I turned the handle but great it was locked.

Then i spotted a window and ran to it. Luckily the room had a window. I peeped in inside and i saw my dear kender sobbing in her hands.

Kender!!! I yelled. Jackson!!!! She said with happiness in her eyes. Open the window! I said. I cant ,im chained,she said painfully.

I ran to grab a huge tree branch and cracked the window open. I ran to kender and unchained her. I gave her a tight hug ahhaw!!! She said painfully. Then only i realised that she was burned!!!!! Kender,i spoke gently. Yeah honey, she replied. Who did this to you?? I asked in a demanding tone.

Jackson,please lets just get out of this place,this graveyard. I cant live here anymore. I need the doctor urgently i feel like today is my last day, she said frightened.

No kender dont you dare say that,we are going to the hospital now. We slowly made our way to the car. She slept on my shoulder on the way.

I thank god i found my life again,i felt like i lost everything. We in hospital in an hour. Kender was taken to the emegency room and i had to wait outside.

After 3 hours
Mr pieterson your wife is ok,but the burns that she has have no cure. We will try our ,the burns can only be cured with a surgery,aand it will cost $500000. The doctor informed. Doctor please! I pleaded. We are not rich, i cant afford so much,we even live in the middle of the graveyard in a shack,i explained.

Im sorry its not in my hands then,the doctor said . Your wife has lost alot of blood and we need to take her to a nutritional centre where she will get all the nutrients to recover, he said with pity.

Ok,doctor just do whatever you can and i will manage the money,i said. Ok take care mr pieterson,have a good day the doctor said while leaving.

I dont know where to get the money from. I will get my salary at the end of the week,which is $100000, i was planning to save money to superise kender with a house on our annevesary.

I went to my office and asked my best friend cad to rent a house in carnival town. There is no way im taking kender back to that dark whole!
Man! Why not i will go and organise a nice flat for youll, he said.

Cad? I called. Yeah?,he replied. I need some money if you dont mind,my wife is in hospital she severely burned and is suffering a lot of blood loss. Oh! jackson why not?he said almost fighting tears.

How much do you need? About $500000. I promise to pay back,i said .Sure man,you dont have to pay back,he said. Here take this,and save your precious jewl.

Thank soo much cad i can never repay you for this,i said while giving him a hug.

I rushed to the hospital,over whelmed with happiness. I handed the money to the doctor,and he said the treatment will start today.

I got my $100000 as my first salary and brought a beautiful black dress for kender with green borders.



Kender loves dresses but i couldnt afford any. The doctor said she will be recovered in a months time. With the rest of the money i brought our furniture. The house was beautifully decorated,it had foresty coloured walls with marble tiles.

I cant wait to suprise kender.
