CHAPTER 23( BAD WEATHER)

Jackson's pov
I am here sitting at the dinning table eating breakfast with my family. On the other hand jewl is holding my hand under the table. It pains me to see how she is so attached to me. She doesnt know about the murder or about the flight. If she gets to know about the murder part she would hate with every single cell inside her body.

Cad and radiya are gone out and will return after supper. After breakfast i went into my room and turned on the fan,its super hot today.

Jewl and all her other sisters are off this december. I want to buy new clothes,because i will be leaving soon. I grabbed some money and went outside. Luckily jewl was no where to be seen.

I drove off to beveldy hills mall. Its the best mall for men wear. I was looking around and spotted my style. I went inside and the freshness hit my face. I was thankful they was an aircon here. I grabbed some black nikes,dark grey tie,dark brown tuxedo with a mixture of dark blue shades and a shiny slivery wrist watch,just like cads one.

After paying,i drove off. On my way i got a missed call. I stopped my car and checked it was was jewl. She also left a text.hi jack:-) would you just give me a ride to the mall,thnkx♥.

I went home and she was superised to see me with the shopping bags in my hands." Jack you didnt tell me you were going for shopping,i should have came with you." She said dissapointed.

"No it was some urgent shopping that i had to do,im sorry." I explained.

"Nope,no need for that." She said not bothered.

I drove her to the mall and returned,and suddenly my stomach starting rumbling.

I went to the kitchen and was greeted my cads mom. "Hi son,looks like someone's hungry." She said reading my mind.

"Hey mom,well yeah sought of." I said.

She started preparing for us some snacks,while i waited and watched her all along.

"I see how jewl is behaving with you." She said. I was totally embrassed.

"She just needs some explaination and time. You know she is still young and i guess shes not completly mature." She explained in an apologic manner.

"I understand mom,dont worry i can handle this." I said giving her a secure smile.

Mom cooked pancakes with some strawberry punch. I drank all of the punch with was so fresh and cold and gave me some relaxation.

The main door opened like lighting causing me to look back. It was cad and radiya. I was wondering why their came back early,i was hoping everything was ok.

"Hi cad ,hi radiya." I greeted while they greeted back with a warm smile.

"You are back so early?" Mom asked stealing my question.

"Well mom the weather is terrible outside and they is a possiblity of a hurricane." Cad said with a worried expression." Some of the trees are already broken,including cars and buses.

I was relieved that all of us were in the house safe and secure. I went into my room after thanking mom for the snacks. It was 7:00 already and dinner gets ready at 8:00.

I was sitting on my bed reading a book,called the awaking. My mind flashed back and remembered i left jewl at the mall. The weather is terrible!!!

Jewl's pov

I was done hanging out with my friends and was heading home. I am searching for a taxi for about 1/2 hour and cant find one. I dont want to call jack because he will think im really annoying. I couldnt call cad because his out with sis radiya.

The weather is also horrible and i live really far. I couldnt wait any longer due to the cold and my teeth clattering. I decided to walk since that was the only option left. I called jackson  a few times while walking but there was no signal due to the storm.

I was starting to panick when i heard people screaming.

I was 5 km away from home now when i saw two huge shadows approaching me. I was scared to turn around and see who it was so instead i started running. Luckily i am a good athlete.

I couldnt run any longer and was breathless. I fell without injuring myself thanks to the shopping bags. A pair of strong arms lifted me up and when i looked they were two big men with strong muscles.

I was terrified. What if they kidnap me? I was thrown on  the  hard ground uncountable times causing my nose to bleed. They lifted me up by pulling my hair almost out of my skull. I was yelling out in pain when i spotted something. They was a huge black,silky and wet suit behind the two men.

It looked familiar and i couldnt remember were i had seen it. The two men froze on their tracks like stachues. I really scared now.

Jackson's pov

I am driving and plus there is alot of traffic. Im panicking and praying at the same time. My heart is beating abnormally right now.

I arrived at the mall and rushed to the entrance. "Sorry sir you are not allowed in ,the mall is closed early due to the wheathering conditions."
The guard said.

I was beyond worried and drove again concentrating to every corner of the street. Then i spot a girl which was just lying there lifelessly. I went out hoping it wouldnt be jewl,but it was!

Her clothes were torn,her mouth and nose were bleeding,her shiny eyes were covered with bruises,and her lips were swallon. She was badly beaten up by someone. I was suspecting the suit once again, i swear on my mom if i find that suit he will have his life lesson.

I placed jewl in the car and drove off. When i reached home,all the lights were shut . I was shocked at they behaviour,they dont even know where is they own daughter  at this time of the night and they are resting peacefully.

I took jewl to her room and took out the first aid kit. I applied some liquid on her bruises that usaully stings you. Then i bandaged her wounds and moisturized her face. After taking her shoes out i gently put her on the bed. I injected her with some medicine ,with this her bruises will heal fast.

I am not a doctor but i did biology for about 3 years so i do have ideas about medicine.

I was about to close the door when i heard"j...a.c.k,......son?" Jewl called.

I was so happy she was still alive. I rushed to her and sat beside her."yeah."  I replied.

"Th..anks for ...the help." She said.

"No problem. Now sleep by tomorow you will be perfectly fine."i said giving her a huge smile revealing my perfect white teeth.

"Goodnight." She said closing her eyes.

"Night," i said after shutting the door. I locked everyones rooms and headed to my room.

She said goodnight,but its a bad night for me,she doesnt know im the one whose responsible for all of this.

Once she gets to know she will start hating me. 

I looked out the window and was frightened by the view. I headed and closed my curtians. I put on my fan and some music to distract me from my uneasy thoughts.

I couldnt sleep i was beyond restless so i took out a book and starting reading it.
