Peridot POV
"Stupid alarm made me late!" I thought as I made a run for it to school.
As I saw the school in view, I crashed into somebody. And it kind of hurt with a force like that.
I sat up from where I fell and rubbed my head. "Hey why don't you wat-" but I stopped half sentence when I saw the person.
I saw that it was a girl. And when I saw how she looked like, I blushed.
"Wow,she's......beautiful" I thought. I saw that she was roaming her hand looking for something. And thaws when I notice she was blind.
"Damn it.....where is it" she mumbled.
"Um, what are you looking for?" I asked,carefully not to scare her.
She was looking to find the direction from where I talked and stood up.
"I'm looking for my white cane but I can't feel it" she said looking down a bit.
I looked around me and I found the white cane behind a few inches behind her.
"I found it" I said as I walked over to it and picked it up to give back to her.
"Oh thank you so much! I don't what I would do if I didn't find it" she said. I went back to give back her cane.
I stood in front of her and grabbed her hand to gave it back to her. I also saw that she blushed a bit.
"T-thank you" she stuttered a bit.
I blushed slightly when our fingers brushed against each other.
"No problem" I rubbed my neck with my prosthetic arm. (AN: there will be info about what happen to her arm later in the story)
"Hey do you where Universe high school is at?"she asked.
I looked at her for the first time cause I only saw her face a bit. And I saw that she the most beautiful bluest eyes I have ever seen, has blue hair as well and a nice smile.
"Uh that's where I go to. In fact I was just heading there. Until we crashed" I explained.
"Oh! Could you mind taking me there? I'm kind of lost and I'm also new to this town anyways" she said.
Instead of answering her, I took her arm and put it on my shoulder so she would follow/walk with me. I looked back to her and saw she was blushing like a tomato. I smiled to how cute she looked like.
And then we started to head towards the school.
