Lapis POV
Peridot and I kept walking in the hallway and then I felt her stop.
I was gonna ask her why did she stop until I heard a voice.
"Well, well. If it isn't mini robot. Good to have you again" the voice said sarcastically.
Peridot stiffened a bit. I tried to figure out what is going on but I couldn't because I couldn't see.
I then felt a hand on top of mine and I figured it was Peridot's hand. And I sort of blushed at the contact. But the hand was made of metal.
"I wasn't here because my cousin was in an accident,that's why, Jasper" she said.
"I guess I'm the cousin" I said in my head. I then heard some footsteps that made the floor shake.
"Is she your cousin?" I heard "Jasper" say.
Peridot moved behind me and puts her hands on my shoulders. She then started to walk foward. With me as well.
"Yes. This is my cousin and now leave her alone because she's shy around people" she said. Then I felt hot air near my ear that sent shivers down my spine.
"Just keep walking and don't stop. Ok?" she whispered.
Instead of answering her, I nodded and did what she told me to do.
I heard Jasper growl in the background and walk away from us. I then heard Peridot sigh of relief. She then took off her hands off my shoulders.
"Hey. You okay Lapis?"she asked.
I think she was next to me.
"Yeah, I'm fine"I said. And then I said "Hey Peri. Why did your hands feel like they made out if metal?"I asked carefully.
I felt her stop walking and stood there quietly.
"Lets just....keep walking"she answered quietly.
I stood quiet as well as we continued walking.
