New friends

Peridot POV

When Lapis asked me why my hand felt like metal, the world around me stopped. I needed time to tell her what to me in that day.

As I told her it was nothing, we kept on walking and turned to face Lapis.

"Hey. Do you want to head to the office to get your schedule AMD locker number?" I asked her.

"Yeah sure. I do need to know what classes I have" she answered while chuckling.

I chuckled as well and took her her hand and started to walk. When I looked at her again, I saw that she blushing.

I smiled softly and thought how she looked when she blushes.

As we reached the door to the office, it was opened by my friend, Amethyst.

"Hey! What's up Peri?" she asked while I bumped her fist that she was holding out.

"I was just taking Lapis here to the office" I explained.

She looked at Lapis and took out her hand out to shake.

"Nice to meet you Lapis. The is Amethyst" she said.

"Nice tonmeet you as well. I'm Lapis. Lapis Lazuli" Lapis said.

Amethyst frowned when Lapis didn't shake her hand and looked at me with confusion in her face.

I mouthed her 'She's blind'. She made her mouth with 'O' shape and understood the situation.

Amethyst and my other friends know what happened to my arm and leg.

"Well it was nice meeting you Lapis but I gotta head to class. See at lunch Peri!" Amethyst said while running off to class.

I shook my head at her attitude and proceeded to make Lapis enter the office and get her schedule and locker number.

The office lady, Rose, looked up from her paperwork and smiled at me when she saw me.

"Hello Peridot. How can I help you today?" she said in a kind voice.

"Hey Rose. Was wondering if we could her class schedule and locker number" I said.

Rose looked at Lapis and smiled softly at her.

"Hello. Can I get your name please, sweety?" she asked.

"My name is Lapis, ma'am. Lapis Lazuli" Lapis answered.

Rose typed in the computer and printed out her schedule and locker number.

"Here you go Lapis" she said while holding the papers out to her.

Lapis reached for the papers and asked me what classes she has. I took the paper from her and I smiled widely.

"We have all classes together" I told her.

When I look at her, she was happy.

"That's great!" she said in enthusiasm.

We left the office and went to go find her locker.

Hey guys! Sorry if had not finished this story yet. Reason is that I stated high school about a week ago and I ha e been busy in homework. I'll try to update as soon as possible. Promise
