Typical Lies

Summer break

The California sun just killed my pale skin. I liked the indoors. Outdoors werent really my thing. But my boyfriend Josh loved going to the beach so I decided why the hell not to go with him. "Babe?" Josh asks me in the cutest voice that ever exists. "yeah babbbee" I smile. "are you really sure you want to go to the beach today?" he looks worried for me for a second.. "no I want to go why do you look so worried?" I question " well you usually don't like going outside so I didn't know I'm sorry honey" he gives me a hug. I get to smell his cologne and I feel safe when he is around me. Makes me feel at home. "get the stuff in the car" I tell him pulling myself away from him. He nods as he takes the bags and heads out the door. I noticed he left his phone. I turn it on to see what he's been doing and I see this one name pop up 'Haley'. I'm confused on who Haley is. But I decided to not get into it I just don't want to piss him off. I tried to look through the messages but the number has a lock on it. I was really confused at this point. I threw the phone back on the coffee table when I heard him walk back in the house. My mom comes out of her room. "hey loveys the beach today I see? " she smiles. My mom and I are really close you can say after my dad passed away we really had no one but each other. It sucks when your dad passes on you at such a young age. He died when I was 8 that was 10 years ago. I'll be 18 in December though. "yes Ms. Hendrix I'll bring her back by 5" Josh laughs. "haha" my mom forces a laugh. " well we should get going before traffic starts" I mention. And then I slipped on my pink sandals, with my blacked painted toe nails and fingernails. With my brunette hair all wrapped in a bun. I was so ready for the beach today!

While driving i noticed that Josh's phone kept buzzing. I snatched that phone so quick. He tried to grab it back. It was that name again 'Haley'.  "Who is she?" i ponder to him. "Who Haley?" he answered back to me. "Yes her" just even hearing him say her name kills my mind. "Shes just a friend babe... she lives in Florida. so no worries okay?" He smiles.  I frown " i dont care please dont talk to her again..." " Woah wheres this all coming from?" he questions. i start getting an attitude. " Um its not getting from anywhere i just dont like her." "Fine delete her then." he says back being all sassed up. I did as he told me, I did infact delete her. He gave me this werid feeling. I didnt know what to say after that. 

"Why are you being so mean" I asked.

"what the fuck? im the one being mean?"

"Yes!!! you are giving me an attitude about one girl!"

"Ugh im sorry i dont know whats gotten into me.."

"Its fine i guess i just hate how your getting all fussy about her like is she special...to... you?"

"No its not like anything like that. Look babe im sorry ill never do it again.. okay?"

"promise?"

"Promise!"

And with that promise said and hopefully will be done and not broken we pull into the parking space. Here comes the day full of the sun!
