I woke up in the cabin. My back was aching from the hunt last night. My name is Randa, I am a she-wolf in my pack, the wolfbloods. Well I guess you could say we aren't excactly wolves. In fact, we are more like shape shifters.

I looked down at my feet. My right ankle was bloody. It must've gotten scraped last night. Ow that hurt. I walked into the kitchen. My mother was in there. Cooking fresh caught elk from last night. Yummm!!!!"Hey mom? Can I go out for a run?"
"Yes, just try to catch some ducks or rabbits. The elk I'm cooking is pretty small. In winter it's hard to find food for prey so they are smaller."
I stepped out of the door... Preparing to transform. ~~~~~wolf~~~~~
My paws felt the sharp, cool snow press against my toes. My leg was still wounded. So I decided to take it easy. As I walked through the woods I thought. The way you can tell someone is a wolfblood is they have brightly colored eyes. Often times they are faster, stronger, more loyal, and not nearly as stupid as humans. I was a hazel colored wolf named Randa. I have bright blue eyes. My mother was a beautiful pure white wolf. Her name is Daga. My father is a dark grey wolf name Furo. He is the Alfa of our pack. Not to mention my three brothers, Cauce, Rescio and Ducho. I always got along better with Cauce than the others. He and I are the runts of the litter. As for Rescio and Ducho, they are a bunch of controlling big headed wolves. But I love them anyways. I heard a branch snap behind me... So I froze. I murmured a low growl in the back of my throat, and prepared to launch back and snap the creature's neck. Slowly I turned around and saw nothing. When all of a sudden a dark brown wolf launched onto my back. I bucked around and eventually he flew off. I pinned him to the floor. "Cauce!" I exclaimed excitedly. "What are you doing out here? I thought you were asleep!""I came out to walk with you! Now we can team up and hunt together!"
"Okay, let's do this! I think I smelt a burrow of large rabbits up north! If we ambush it at the right time we can catch a bounty of them!"
"Perfect!"
"Shhh, follow my lead!"
I quickly and quietly darted up the mountain pass. The rabbits scents kept getting stronger. This was my motivation. With the cold rabbit scented air rushing through my nostrils and the icy snow scrapping my paws I was ready for anything. My long smooth strides brought me up the mountain. Now I was so close to the rabbits I could pounce. So I skidded to a stop, making a wave of snow in the process. I looked at Cauce. Signaling for him to slowly stalk to the other side of the borrow. I quietly sniffed the snow looking for a secret burrow exit. Once I found it I flicked my tail, to signal Cauce to dig. Snow was flying everywhere as he burrowed through the snow. As I heard the rabbits
Run to the secret exit I barked. Cauce comes running so that we could catch them out the other end. The rabbits where slightly ahead of us. So I barked again. "Faster!" We hit our top speed. When we hit the end of the burrow we waited for the rabbits to come out. Five fat juicy rabbits darted out and we snapped our jaws around them. The blood dripping through our teeth tasted good. So we laid down." Dang I'm tired!" I exclaimed.
"Same. But luckily The rabbits took us to a place near our home!"
"We should begin our trek home."
So we stood up on all four paws and raced home.

Once we were at the cabin, My mom darted over. "What did you catch sweety?"
" We ambushed a rabbit den up north and caught five plump rabbits!" I exclaimed. "Where are Rescio and Ducho?"
"They are in the wolf den." She replied.
Our family has two homes. A cabin and a cave. Weird huh? I should head out and get them. I need to practice my battle skills!
