"Where have you been?!" Asked Furo, angrily. Ducho and I new we had to lie, this is when telepathic abilities come in handy.

Omigod what do we say? I asked through my mind.

Ummm. We went hunting. Ok?

Ok.

I bowed down to our mighty alpha. With as little studder in my voice as possible, I went with Ducho's plan.
"Sir, we went hunting."

"Than where is your bounty?" Furo questioned.

"Furo, that is why we took so long, we searched for prey but there was nearly none to be found." Ducho was a better liar than I. My paws always tremble when I lie.

Furo nodded in approval and we passed by him. Soon, I spotted my mother, I ran up to her and nuzzled her fur.
"Mom, I need to tell you something."
I said, nervously.
I wasn't sure what to say. I had just lied to my father, would I tell the truth to my mother? I always got along better with my mother than my father, my father scares me. Mom was always sweet, but that never helped us in battle. Mother now looked confused. I felt a pang of guilt for breaking clan law.

"What is it sweety?" She said, "you can tell me anything. "

I walked into the cabin and went into my room, gesturing my mother to follow.

Mother, I think Furo has been lieing to us. I did something wrong today, and I think I got close to finding out something I wasn't supposed to.

A look of worry came across my mother's face. She knew something. But I wouldn't let her know I could see that.
My Sweet, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you would've found out someday. What did you do?

I crossed our clans border and spied on the other clan.
My mother's worried look became more intense. I saw a tear run down her face and drip into the floor. My mother sighed, not sure what to say.

We've been lying to you. She looked down at her feet. I could tell she didn't want whatever went down to have happened.

There was an agreement, she thought. Furo, stole you and Ducho from you original parents. The other clan banished Furo, and he took you, Ducho, Me, and my real children, Cauce and Recio. He forced me to convince you all that we were our own clan. A tear streamed down my face. I wiped it off with my cold hands. If my mother was telling the truth, than this means my whole life had been a lie, what would my life had been like if I wasn't kid napped ? What was I supposed to do now? Was I just supposed to accept this? This means none of my siblings knew the truth as well. I had to tell them.

I sprinted fast across the frozen earth. The bitter cold pinched my skin and snapped at my muzzle. I wished I never spied on that camp, and my life could go on as it went. But that isn't what happened. And I knew my life was about to change...
