it has been four years since the tragic accident happened. for four years, he has been hiding the fact that he was there when it happened. for four years, regrets and the memories are still fresh on his mind.
he stare blankly at the plain white ceiling, as he felt his phone vibrates from the soft mattress.
meet me at the coffee bean café right now.
what, why?
questions will be answered when you go here. right now.
mkay.
he grab a random coat from the table, as he wraps it around his body, to keep him warm against the winter cold weather of arizona.
within minutes of walking, he finally arrives at the café, freshly brewed, strong, different coffees filled his nostrils, as he gladly inhale the pleasant smell.
his eyes wander around, as he tries his best to find his old friend.
walking on a normal pace, he sat at the booth where the black haired girl is seated,
"hey," he says, grabbing her attention away from the tablet she was holding, distracted from.
her brown eyes, fixed on his blue ones, serious and urgent was all it spoke.
"i won't meddle around the bush, the xanders are missing for almost three weeks." she says,
he heaves a sigh, and says, "you sure they're missing? they might be on a sudden vacation, whatsoever."
"yes im sure. they can't just go outside of the country, they're still in the middle of uni, why would they even be on a sudden vacation." she answers.
he looks at her with furrowed eyebrows, and states, "look, keith you have to let go of the past, and stop meddling with their lives,"
she sat still and collected as she replies, "look, aisley you have not to be scared of the past, am not meddling with their lives. besides im a hundred and one percent sure you haven't let go of the past either. don't be a hypocrite."
"excuse me, i'll be running some errands. it was good meeting with you again after four years," aisley dismisses, as he desperately avoided the topic and walked out.
whilst keith just sat still, heaving a heavy sigh. as she mutters, "typical aisley, avoiding responsibilities."
