*Dipper's POV*

It's been a few weeks since Bill came back, and my head has been spinning the whole time.

He says Mabel asked him to help.

"Help with what?" I had asked him that day.

"You." He had replied like it should have been clear as day.

We'd spent at least an hour out there, my face in his, surprisingly, muscular chest with tears rolling down my cheeks.

I shook my head as these thoughts came back to me, and put on a smile for the lady and her kid who'd come up to the register.

I grabbed whatever items it was they had and added up the total, my hands shaking slightly as my thoughts drifted to Mom and Dad.

"T-thirty-four fifty." I stuttered out and the lady gave me the correct amount. I handed back their items and sighed. Only one more hour left to go.

"Hey Bro-bro!" Mabel called out as she walked into the gift shop. "Someone's here to see you!"

I looked up at her and saw not only Bill, but little Gideon Gleeful too. I smiled at the boy who was barely younger than my sister and I and leveled a gaze at Bill.

"Hello." I said and smiled and Gideon ran towards me.

"Dipper Pines, as I live 'n breathe." He said as he finally got over to me with his arms wrapped around me.

"Gideon Gleeful, always a pleasure." I said and somehow didn't stutter.

Gideon and I were smiling, in our own little world of happiness.

*Bill's POV*

What does that twerp have that I don't? Why won't Pine Tree look at me like that?!?! I thought as I saw them smiling at each other.

I glared at the floor, my heart hurting.
