After Mea finished her first twp classes of the day, she hoped to meet up with het friends Rey, and Sky. Her and Rey had been friends for a few weeks and she'd known sky for years. Rey was a wirey tall kid with blonde curls, and his bright blue eyes hid a secret she didnt know. Sky was just shorter than Mea with sleek bleach blonde hair that fell just below her shoulders. Her bluish, hazel eyes always felt haunted by something. Mea always felt unsubstantial compared to her friends.

"Hey Mea!" Sky waved me over to her group of rather slim rather gorgouse friends and she shook my head turning the corner to sit infront of my locker and read all lunch. Mea nearly fell over after bumping into Rey.

"Whoa there speed racer. Wanna hangout?" Reys happy gaze slowly worked its ways from her toes to mmeet her eyes, and boy it made her tummy flip."Yeah for sure."

They walked around and then decided to sit on the floor in the hall and chat about school and all the things they would do in their future. "I will be the Emporer of the world I swear it to you!" Rey said exasperatedly for the second time after Mea laughed doutingly at his statment. "Sure, sure. And one day Ill somhow be the queen of England and demand world domination," Mea said mockingly. Rey just looked hurt.

After a strange lunch, and news of tests in her bio and history classes, Mea left the big grey school. She walked to work; a coffee shop down the road, jamming to 'Said the whales' newest album. Music was her "life line" as some people put it.

Entering the coffee shop, she smiled at the warming sent that tickled her nose. Ever since Mea was a child, she'd always loved anything coffee or tea. When her and her sister had come across this little slice of Heaven, they made a pact to work there and always go once a month, no matter how bussy things got.

The shop itself used to be a bank, so a safe sat in the back witch they used as the staff room. All the tables and chairs were miss matched, and the floor was a woren out wood, that suffered many bleach spills. Every week new paintings came in, and could be bought. It was just perfect.

"Hello Sam," She greeted her coworker. Sam was short and had skin as pale as a porceline doll, with dark eyes and hair.

"Afternoon Mea. How was school?" She replied. Smiling Mea filled her in on the drama and the boring details of algebraic equations.

Mea put her beige bookbag down in the back and grabbed her smock off the cute wooden hooks. Walking to the front she pulled her long hair into a saggy knot on the back of her head. Then she set off cleaning the tables and sweeping.

It was a slow night untill a stranger walked in starteling the daylights out of her.

Perhaps tonight wouldn't be normal. At least it was Friday...
