A New Studio?

Miss Kate pov
Leaving the old studio forever was quite hard, so many memories have been made there. But they all are gone. The Fire is probably the worst thing that ever happened to is us, it affected the team in ways i couldn't imagine. But we got through it, Welcome to the next step dance studio 2!

Kate stood proudly in the new studio a, looking around with a big smile on her face. The chandelier shone brightly, lighting up the room. The dancers would be arriving any minute to begin preparing for internationals, Kate couldn't wait to get started, and when the dancers arrived the excitement stepped it - It was time to begin!

The Sound or scattering feet and talking grew louder as the dancers got closer to studio a, everyone gasped as the new studio came to light. "Oh my, Miss Kate!" Giselle smiled, rotating around the room with her golden locks of hair swaying behind her. "I know its incredible! Welcome to the next step dance studio 2!" Kate welcomed.

The studio looked similar to the previous one, with wooden beams up along the walls and a side of different colour glass stained windows. Exept the office was now in the wall with big windows to peer out on the dance space.
"This is amazing!" Riley exclaimed, James laughing and agreeing with her. It was strange, James and Riley would not be dancing there anymore.

Riley pov
It does feel strange, this is a new studio and james I won't be dancing at internationals this year, but change is a good thing sometimes. I'm just scared what the means.

"So I guess we need to start thinking about internationals, alot of our time has been cut short so we need to get down to work!" She said, clapping her hands together. "I'm going to be putting out notices about the auditions for the internationals team" She announced. "We will want the strongest team possible so you should all start working on your solos" She advised.

James POV
I feel that now is the time to tell Kate that we will not be back for internationals - i just hope she takes it well!

James and Riley whispered to eachother before catching the attention of Kate, "Riley is everything okay?" She asked, silencing everyone else in the room. "Ummm...." She hesitated. "Well Riley, what's wrong?" Kate replied. James and Riley looked at eachother once more, "Me and James won't be auditioning for the internationals team" She explained, placing her hand in james'

"I see, Why not?" She asked, "James and i are going Travelling" Riley answerd.

Emily pov
Riley, Not auditioning for a troupe? That's given me butterflies.

"Ri, can I talk to you for a second?" Emily asked, looking at the floor with her arms folded. They both walked over to the otherside of the studio to talk in private, "You're not auditioning for the internationals team this year, why?" She asked. "Because i have been to internationals, and won. Don't you think anyone else deserves that spot?" She answered.

"Its not that, You didn't talk to me or mum or anyone about It?"

Riley pov
I do think that Emily is taking this abit far, but thats my sister for you.

"I didn't want to big it up and then not go if something went wrong" Riley explained as she fidgeted with her fingertips in nerves. Kate called the girls back over to continue announcements leaving bad water between Emily and Riley. "So, you will be leaving us then?" She asked, just to clarify.

James nodded, "But we want to know where internationals is being held so we can be There!" He smiled. Kate frowned for a moment, "Thats sad, but I'm happy for you!" She added with a smile.

"Ok anyone else want to tell us something?" Kate asked, secretly thrown of the idea that James and Riley would be going. No one said anything for a second, but then the bigger picture came to light - they were one dancer down. "Has anyone seen Michelle?" Salone wondered, trying to peer over the heads of others to see. Michelle hadn't gone to the new studio that day, Amanda was Covering for her. "She at a family dinner party, her mums side" She explained.

Amanda pov
I don't know where Michelle actually is, she just told me to tell Miss Kate she was at a dinner party. I hope she's Ok.

"Well, Lets get on with things" Kate said rhythmically, stepping forward. "Do we know where internationals is being held this year?" Salone wondered, Kate nodded. "I have the letter here but I thought I'd open it with you guys so here it goes" Kate got the vibrant letter from the office and opened it.

"Guys! Internationals is being held in Rio De Janeiro!" She rejoiced.

Noah pov
I'm so excited! Rio? That is amazing!

Amanda
Rio De Janeiro is amazing, I saw it on a post card... From my nan.

A troupe were starting to get distracted, they had a whole new studio to explore, and so little time to do it in. "Can we just go and look around?" Beth asked. Kate was anxious to get started but couldn't resist the temptation. "Okay but we have to get started Soon!" She smiled, leading everyone out of the studio. "You know it's quite lucky we to found this building, the guy that sold it to me sold it very very cheap!" Kate explained.

"This is what will now be studio B and we now have space to house a music room aswell as a studio J for J troupe" Kate smiled proudly. "How did you find out about these buildings?" Giselle asked, starting to get confused. "He over hered me on the phone and told me about them, and so Jenny I looked at them"

Giselle pov
This is starting to sound to good to be true, its hard to think that she could afford all this - even with the lottery money. I might need to do some digging.

Kate was explaining the new studio to the dancers when they were disturbed by the sound of Amandas phone pinging off. She excused herself to answer it in the corridor.

Amanda pov
Michelle is calling me to get an update on internationals, there is something up with her and I want to find out what.

Michelle had been to see Chris, they opportunity was amazing but how would a troupe take it if she left. She was sitting alone on a park bench, there was alot of things to consider about going. She was disturbed by a passing by boy, it turned out to be charlie from B troupe. "Hey, Michelle are you alright?" He asked, sitting down next to her.

"I'm good thanks" She replied, "How come you're not with a troupe today?" He wondered curiously. Michelle wanted to get it out of her system, so she decided to tell charlie. "I told them I was at a dinner party, but I meeting Chris, he has offered me place on a team going to internationals in England" She explained.
"Oh right, and you want to go?" He presumed. Michelle nodded slowly.

Charlie pov
All I've ever wanted was to be on A troupe and now that Michelle is considering going to England for internationals - a spot on a troupe opens up. I have to tell Kate!

Next time ~ the auditions begin. But a displeased Kate wants to see Michelle!
