The Next Step ~ Internationals 2 (Season 6)

Rush for Perfection

"Nice! Kate was walking around the outside of the dance space analysing the routine. She was very impressed and it as coming along nicely. With only two weeks left until internationals, they were at a race against the time to get everything down. The events with the studio burning down ate into the rehearsal time." Awesome keep it up!" She yelled, The grin on her face reflective of her opinion of the dance. This time around it was the 3-7 Person dance, and next they were to come up with the Semi Final routine.

"Wow guys you have done fantastically!" Kate congratulated. It seemed that she knew what she was doing better this year, however she also knew that internationals could through you anything at anytime. "Give it 5 Minutes to get some water and take a break then we need to come up with Semi finals routine!"

Emily POV
Rio De Janeiro is only two weeks away and we still haven't come up with the Finals routine, and male Solo.

Giselle POV
I'm unsure of what the rounds are at internationals, for example: There was a blindfolded round last year and we don't know if there's going to be a similar round.

Chloe POV
I've been Hanging around with Emily alot since our talk the other day as I really want to make sure that she is alright and okay with what's going on.

Emily had decided to be optimistic about internationals and hope that the future would bring her an opportunity to be a featured dancer, but despite the waiting. Kate had still not put her in a dance and Emily didn't want to look spoilt, but she deserved a featured spot to didn't she? Or was she destined for the subs bench.

Kate called everyone back over, they needed to get everything down and work on Choreography very soon. Not to mention the fact the costumes hadn't arrived yet; Internationals seemed rushed for A troupe this time around and it most certainly not like last year. "Alright, So Sophia you have done your Solo, we have the small group and 3-7 Person dance. All that's left to do is the male Solo spot, Mystery MUSIC round finals and semi finals"

Miss Kate POV
It is all very complicated, Sometimes I wish all the competitions were like Regionals. You have two routines to perform and that is it.

"So let's work on the Semi Final routine then" Giselle spoke up, tieing up her golden locks of hair to prepare for the dancing that was coming her way. "Ok!" Carmine burst out excitedly. She too stepped up ready to dance, much to everyone else's confusion. "What are you doing?" Giselle wondered, still tieing her hair up and removing her life blue zipper hoodie. "I'm about to help you take your Semi finals routine from amazing to amazinger!"

Carmine POV
I can see allot of ways that The A troupe can make their routines better. My Studio in Berlin isn't like that. Don't get me wrong Germany want to win Internationals but the fact is there is no we they can ever win so I'm backing this team!

Alot of the dancers stood in silence with shocked expressions on their faces. Carmine was coming up with choreography that the would never have thought of in a million years. It was strange how Germany hadn't won internationals before.

Richelle POV
Okay someone tell Why Germany hasn't one internationals before?

Noah POV
I can't believe how good Carmine is! Her team must be amazing!

"So, I've been learning about your culture. It's time you learnt German culture... Dance culture!" Carmine said, taking a sip of her Water and preparing to teach some Choreography of her own. It fitted in brilliantly with Giselle and the team's choreography. Everyone seemed to enjoy it too, making it easier to connect with and dance to.

Miss Kate POV
I'm watching Carmine help our choreography and I can't believe how outstanding it is! But it is a little strange how Carmine is helping us. I'm going to have a talk with her later.

In fact, With Carmine's help. A troupe managed to begin creating the finals routine. But everyone had decided to take a small break. Miss Kate thought that this was a good time talk to Carmine about her generosity. "Carmine can I talk to you for a second? The Exchange student nodded and followed Kate into the office." Last year, we had an incredibly awful exchange student and your nothing like her. Why do you want to help us improve our choreography?"

Carmine POV
I guess that I have to tell her.

"The Berlin team has no chance winning internationals everyone, so im helping the next best team" She answered. Kate thought to herself for a few moments. "Oh okay, I see but you should have more faith in your team" She answered, "I'm an alternate anyway so I don't get to help the team" She answered, looking at the floorn

Miss Kate POV
What?! Carmine is an alternate?

"Well you'd certainly be an A trouper here" She said, trying to make Carmine feel better. "I think we'd better get back to rehearsals don't you?" Kate suggested, they both walked back into studio A to resume with the Finals routine.

Carmine POV
When miss Kate talked about me being an A trouper in her eyes, it makes me feel special. I know this is the team I want to back at internationals!

A troupe were all getting back into a circle talking about dance when the clink of the door stole their attention. "Michelle?!" Emily gasped, Shocked to see her back in the studio. The blonde dancers walked closer to eachother, "Mi? What are you doing back?" Kate asked.

Miss Kate POV
What is Michelle doing back at the studio she's supposed to be in England with Chris!

"I came back because....."

Michelle POV
the team Chris took charge of was Summerford School of dance ~ ELLA'S team! I thought i could stick it out their but I can't.

"I'd rather not go to internationals than betray my family and best friends!" She said, tears beggining to emerge from her eye's. "I'm sorry! I should never have gone!" She weeped. "No, You shouldn't have" Giselle stepped forward to give her a hug. "But I'm glad you did because you've given us the fire we need to kick Summerfords ass at internationals!" They both chuckled.

Giselle POV
I feel like yes, Michelle did betray us in a way but she did what she had to do and she came back. But i don't think that all the dancers out there will be willing to forgive her just yet. But in time the scars will heal.

Next time ~ Although not on A troupe, Michelle is trying to fit in again at the studio. Carmine takes another plunge into helping TNS
