Falling In Love

Steph woke up, seeing Gaul sitting down on a couch. He looked over and saw that she was awake. "Hey, how are you feeling? What happened to you?" He asked, walking over. For some strange reason, her heart beat faster when he was near. Am I...am I falling in love with him?! Steph thought, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks. Gaul chuckled, seeing her blush. "Am I that charming, Steph?" He asked jokingly. Steph rolled her eyes, laughing. She sat up in bed and playfully punched Gaul on the shoulder. "What was that for?" Gaul asked, pretending to be hurt. "Because you're sooooo 'charming'." Steph said, laughing and giving him a peck on the cheek. Gaul blushed, realizing what she did. Steph did the same, not realizing she had just kissed Gaul on the cheek.

An awkward tension was in the air until Ena burst in. She looked between her best friend and the prince, who were both blushing and looking at the ground. "Uh...why are you both blushing?" Ena asked warily. "I...uh...sorta pecked Gaul on the cheek...and..yeah." Steph explained, blushing a deeper shade of red. This is what Yukikaze was afraid of. Yukki walked in, looking Steph straight in the eye. "What are you doing here, Yukikaze?" Steph spat out, her voice full of hatred. Gaul looked surprised at how she changed personalities so quickly. "This is what I was afraid of. We told you, if you fall in love you could end up killing him!" Yukki yelled. "And I told you that you don't control my damn life!" Steph yelled back, sass in her tone. She rolled her eyes and groaned, storming out of the room.

"Explain please." Gaul demanded, earning a sigh from Yukki. She explained the whole demon thing to him and he was surprised. "A demon?!" Gaul yelled, his eyes wide. Yukki and Ena nodded. Meanwhile, Steph was in Leo's room, telling her what happened. "Look, they just want to protect you. You're like a daughter to them." Leo explained. Steph breathed out, standing up. "You're right. I'm gonna apologize." She ran out and suddenly collided with General Bernard, who was walking with Violet. Steph stood up quickly. "Sorry General Bernard!" She apologized, running into the guest room, only to see Gaul looking at her with disappointment. "Why didn't you tell me, Steph?!" He demanded. "I...I wanted to b-but..." Steph started, but she couldn't tell him because he already walked out.

MEANWHILE...

Ena was with Shinku, laughing about something. Ena felt her heart beat faster, knowing she had a crush on Shinku. I mean, who wouldn't? He's cute, he's funny and he's kinda cool too... Ena thought, ruffling Shinku's hair. "Hey, stop that!" Shinku whined, pouting cutely. Ena laughed, pecking him on the cheek. They both blushed, realizing what just happened. "Uhm...I'm sorry!" Ena apologized, blushing harder. "N-no, i-its fine!" Shinku said, putting an arm around her shoulders. He felt...strange around her. Almost as if...he liked her. Like, like-like her. He sighed, seeing Ena blush.

"Hey....uh...I'm going to talk with the Princess for a while. Talk to you later?" Ena said, standing up. Shinku understood the awkwardness of the situation and nodded. Ena ran off to confide in the Princess.
