Celebration!

The battle was over. Biscotti won, but Steph was happy anyway. She was still slightly mad at Gaul for thinking she was a dude. The festival in Biscotti was the perfect time for Gaul to apologize. Right? Steph, Ena, Shinku and Gaul hung out for a while, Steph buying food every once in a while. "Do you ever stop eating?" Ena asked, sighing. Steph took a bite of her sweet dumplings. "Nope. I'm a growing child." She replied, taking another bite. "Hey, uh, sorry about thinking you were a guy, Steph-sama.." Gaul said, scratching the back of his neck. Steph sighed. "It's fine." The girl said, smiling before petting Gaul. The prince blushed, noticing what she did. "H-hey stop!" Gaul said, smacking her hand away and blushing. Steph was surprised. "O-okay..." She went back to eating her food, feeling embarrassed. "Great job, idiot." Ena said to Gaul, rolling her eyes. Shinku chuckled a little, seeing Gaul blush harder.

AFTER THE FESTIVAL

Steph sat up on the edge of the bed, seeing Leo-sama, Gaul and the Genoise asleep. Well, technically Gaul and the Genoise were on the floor...Steph looked out the window, sighing. "You okay?" Gaul said, sitting up. The girl looked over and nodded. "Yeah. Just...thinking about stuff." She said, giving him a forced smile. "C'mere." Gaul said, patting the carpet. "......okay." Steph said, blushing and sitting next to him. She suddenly felt a hand on her head. Her eyes widened and she blushed harder. Suddenly, Gaul started to pet her. ".....heh heh." Steph chuckled, giving him a closed-eye smile. Jaune opened an eye and saw what Gaul was doing. Her eyes widened and whispered to Noire and Vert, "Guys..look at what Gaul-sama is doing.....!" Steph yawned, oblivious to what was happening.

"You can go back to sleep if you want.." Gaul said, grinning cheekily at her. "Okay...g'night Gaul.." Steph said sleepily, climbing back onto the bed and falling asleep.

BACK AT BISCOTTI

Ena and Shinku were still awake, talking about their homes. "My parents are kinda strict when it comes to my grades. Sometimes it's rough, but I know they only want the best for me." Ena explained, smiling. Shinku sighed. "I almost never see my parents because they're always on business trips.." The Hero said, sighing. "Oh.." Ena said. Shinku yawned, stretching his arms. "Oh, I'll sleep in the other room now. 'Night Shinku." Ena said, going out and into her room. "Night, Ena." Shinku replied, laying down in his bed and falling asleep.
