Trying To Form A Plan (and a Confession)

The three demon hunters, the two Heroes, and Gaul were trying to formulate a plan to help Steph. "I suggest we do it during one of the wars. She's more likely to become....psychotic during battles," Isuka explained, crossing his arms. "Probably. But how is Gaul gonna kiss her? In the middle of a battle?" Ena asked, who was slowly inching closer to Shinku. Shinku blushed, noticing what Ena just did. "Good point. And here I thought this was gonna be easy." Gaul said, sighing. Yukki facepalmed. "We're trying to save your potentially future girlfriend." Ena said, sighing and putting her head on Shinku's shoulder. "Gaul-sama, try to be serious." d'Arquien scolded, taking a drink of her sake. "Let's try to talk about it tomorrow. Or else we're gonna have to wing it. The next battle is 2 days.." Shinku said, standing up. The others agreed, going back home.

"Hey Ena? Can we talk a little in the flower meadow?" Shinku asked, blushing a deep red. Ena nodded, blushing as well. They walked together, faces red and holding hands. "Actually..uh..I wanted to tell you something.." Ena said as soon as they arrived. "M-me too.." Shinku replied, sitting under a tree. "You go first." The girl said, not wanting to confess. "No! You go first!" Shinku yelled, waving his hands in front of him. "W-we'll say it together, then.." Ena said, blushing. "One..two.." Shinku counted. "I like you!" Both blurted out at the same time. She put her hands over her mouth and her face turned red. Shinku did the same, covering his face more. "Does this mean we're d-dating?!" Ena asked, her eyes widening. Shinku shrugged. "If you want to." Ena blushed at this, hiding her face in his chest.

Does she have to be so adorable? Shinku thought, ruffling Ena's hair. "Let's go back to Biscotti..." Ena said, standing up and grabbing her now-boyfriend's hand. She dragged him to Biscotti, trying not to make it obvious she was blushing.
