Okay, yes. I'm scared!" Luke squeezed Quinn's hand as he sat in the chair at the Tattoo & Piercings Parlor in town. "Relax, kid. Labret studs (a/n: correct me if wrong) aren't even that bad," the piercer, an older man with his arms full of tattoos, sighed in annoyance. He was turned away from the two as he got himself ready for the procedure.

"Luke, calm down," Quinn giggled at him, squeezing his hand reassuringly. "Yeah, what your girlfriend said," the piercer said, nodding towards her. Quinn felt herself blush and she glanced at Luke, who was smirking up at her. She rolled her eyes as the piercer turned towards Luke with the clamps and needle. Luke jumped in his seat and his eyes grew wide. "Just close your eyes," Quinn told him, shooting an apologetic look at the piercer. He sighed in annoyance again.

Luke finally calmed down and closed his eyes. Quinn turned away so she wouldn't have to watch. Luke would squeeze her hand hard at moments, but would then would release his death grip. "All done," the piercer said a few minutes later. He grabbed a mirror and handed it to Luke before glumly trudging off to the front desk to ring him up.

Quinn turned back to him and widened her eyes. "Ooh, how do you like it?" she admired the black stud in the bottom corner below his lip. "It hurts a little, but it looks cool," Luke released Quinn's hand to hold the mirror out in front of him. He stuck his tongue out to feel the stud and started laughing at himself.

"Alright, c'mon and pay and get outta here," the piercer called from the front of the store. Luke hopped up and placed the mirror on the seat. He grabbed Quinn's hand unexpectedly and led her towards the front. As the piercer explained to Luke how to care for his piercing, he still held onto her, tapping his fingers against the back of her hand. Quinn smiled softly to herself, barely paying attention as Luke paid and eventually pulled her out of the store.

"That was fun. Now let's do something you wanna do," Luke offered as he turned to face the girl. "Well, I usually like to just lay in bed and watch Netflix," Quinn snorted as they walked back to his car.

"Netflix and chill? Come on, Quinn, that's so cliché," Luke joked as he opened the passenger door for her. "Well, sorry. I don't get out much," Quinn rolled her eyes as she buckled up. Luke closed the door and got into the driver's seat. He turned to look at her, as if expecting another response.

Quinn stuffed her hands into his jacket and shrugged. "I honestly think I should probably get back to Kristen and help her survive the hangover of the century," she admitted. Luke nodded understandingly. "People pleaser," he stuck his tongue out at her and turned back to buckle up and start the car.

"No I'm not! I just want to make sure my friend is alright," Quinn crosses her arms over her body stubbornly. "Mhm, alright," Luke turned back to her with a lopsided grin on his face. Quinn looked back with a blank expression on her face. "Being a people pleaser isn't always a bad thing. It's kinda cute," Luke told her, raising an eyebrow to make her smile.

The edges of her lips tried to curve upwards and Luke chuckled at how hard she tried to not grin. Finally, she cracked and let out a breath as she grinned softly. Luke poked her cheek that wasn't bruised. "Can I kiss you now?" he asked cheekily, giving her puppy eyes.

Quinn turned away from Luke and glanced at the ground. "I don't know-"

"You're right, I'm sorry," Luke interrupted her and began walking towards his car without another word. Quinn rolled her eyes and followed in suit, watching as Luke opened the driver's side door and got in, slamming it behind him.
