Weeks have passed since Luke and Hades had met, and for the next few days afterwards all he could think about was her. Now only little things can make him think of her and all of the words she spat at him. Sometimes, the chocolate-vanilla swirl of his ice cream from McDonald's would make him think of her chunky yellow highlights over black hair. And every short girl who passed just felt a little taller, and every intimidating man who crosses his path would seem a little smaller. She was the biggest of them all though.

Calum had recently taken noticed of the change in his behavior, and invited him over to their usual hangout. When Luke arrives, he didn't seem any messier than usual and felt rather good for the first time in awhile.

"Hey man," he greeted Cal, and gave a little smirk.

"You seem a lot better than you were before. What's got you happy?",

Luke hadn't been aware that he was being visibly bothered, "I don't know what you're talking about, mate. I've been great."

A cough escaped Calum's mouth, "Yeah okay sure. You're probably hung up on how you didn't get a taste of that acid."

He's right in a sense. If there was any reason he should return to that basement, it was because he needs to get a taste of those bitter sheets. He'll never go back though, and it was all because of her. She's the reason he's so bummed out. He'll brush it off; there's no way in fuck is he going to show this sort of weakness, "I mean, yeah, it would've be sick to get some of that."

"Well, lucky for you," Calum begins, and Luke's throat goes dry, "We'll be returning tonight, and you'll be getting some of it."

Luke wants to run away, leave, and never come back. That little, underground rave was his point of weakness and no one could know that. The only thing that could escape his lips was, "Oh."

"Oh? Is that all? I thought you've been dying to go back to that fuck all."

"I do. I do. But um," his lips are numb, "I do.

"Then let's go. No one like followed you here, right?"

It takes a moment for Luke to think back to the time he left his house, and if anyone was outside of his house. "I reckon not. Yeah, no."

"Go to the car. I'll meet you in two minutes."

Luke's left alone in the small living room. All of the frustration he's feeling is let out on his face, turning his cheeks a bright shade of pink. Soon enough, Calum's footsteps are heard and Luke rushes out the door to Calum's car.
