Chapter Four

Ell's POV

"Thank you for coming to Starbucks." I tell the customer in front of me.

I step away from my register and walk to the back. I take off my apron and put my jacket on, I walk to the front of the store and wait for my best friend Avery to show up.

After a few minutes, everything in front of me goes dark and I feel hands slip over my eyes.

"Guess who?" I deep voice says to me.

"Hmmmmmmmm... Avery." I say.

The hands come off my eyes and I turn around in my chair and see Avery. She is pretty tall, has wavy blonde hair and green eyes to DIE for, they are so pretty!

"How is it that you always do that?!" She says, sitting next to me and I turn back to the table.

"You are the only person I know that will do that. So, that's how." I say, sipping my Pumpkin Spice Latte a bit more.

"Well, I will just have to stop for a while and then start it up again." She says, grabbing my latte and tries to take a sip of it.

I ninja chop her and she releases my latte.

"Jeez, protective much?" She asks, rubbing her write where I chopped her.

"Ugh, yes. It's Pumpkin Spice. I have been waiting for this to come out for a WHOLE year. Nobody drinks my Pumpkin Spice. Nobody." I say, giving her a very, very seriously look.

"Point taken. Ready to go?" She asks, standing up.

"Yeah, did you drive here or take a taxi?" I ask, grabbing my purse.

"I took a taxi. Where's Alex? I want my little baby buggie!" Avery says to me, looking around for Alex's car seat.

"She's at home." I tell her, walking towards the door.

"WHAT! YOU LEFT MY LITTLE ALEX ALONE, BY HERSELF?" She yells at me as we get out of Starbucks.

"No, I would never ever do that, you know me. No, an old friend dropped by with a few of his band mate's and to pay me for spending the night, he said that they would babysit." I tell her, walking to my car.

"Oh, he's in a band? Would I know it?" She asks me, getting in my car.

"Maybe, they are pretty famous. He is Irish, so I don't know 100% sure that you would have heard of them." I say, trying so very, very hard not to smile.

"I don't know, I do listen to bands that not very many people have heard of, just tell me." She says, as I pull out of the parking lot.

"Well, how about I make you guess?" I say, teasing her.

"Fine. Since I know that I will never be able to talk you out of it. How many boys are in the band?"

"Five, including my friend."

"Okay, what are their names?"

"I'm not as dumb as I look, no. I am not telling you."

"Ugh, fine. How old are they?"

"They range from 20, 21, they are all about that age at the very least."

"Okay, you said that your friend is Irish, are they all Irish?"

"He is the only one that is Irish, the rest are British."

After I say that, I feel the energy in the car change. It is like she is on edge, and by the look on her face I say that she has a very important question to ask me.
