PROLOGUE + CHAPTER 1

<PROLOGUE>

Way before there was any sign of life that became "me", I was the size of a grain of salt.

Much like this - . (period)

Apparently, that's how minute we all used to be. It's very humbling. (Eh?)

This early embryo attaches itself to our mother's womb and undergoes radical change, and that stage has been a complete black box to modern science.

Today, scientists are only starting to discover what happens in the first 14 days of the "grain of salt" we used to be.

As a child, I've always wondered where I really come from, before entering my mother's womb.

A part of me always imagined that I actually came from outer space -- which is quite true, considering where the Big Bang actually took place.

Another question I used to ask myself as a child -- why am I here? Why was I ever born?

The conscious, subconscious and unconscious quest for an answer to that question led me to leave the safe haven of my family and country in Malaysia to farther lands beyond our garden fence. Eventually, I landed in Japan and then later, in Canada.

My quest for the purpose and meaning of life continued.....

How a grain of salt manages to grow into overinflated egos that rule the planet we call home is truly mind boggling to me.

It says to me the origin of life is not to be understood by Mind alone.

It is only by meeting my spiritual father and teacher in Dr.and Master Zhi Gang Sha that I truly began to find answers to the burning questions I've had about the purpose of life.

Master Sha teaches: "The purpose of life is to serve."

Our physical life is limited, but our spiritual life is eternal.

Our souls are perpetually on a journey to evolve into higher consciousness and state of being.

Our physical lives are to serve our soul's journey.

Upon learning (reawakening to) these deeply profound truths that my soul has always known, I began earnestly to pay attention to the needs of my soul's journey, and find ways in my physical life to serve those needs.

I invite you to walk with me on this journey through my humble musings from my soul gazing -- not through Mind alone but through my Heart and Soul.

I would be most grateful, honored and humbled if any of my musings could serve your journey in some meaningful way.

Take me as a grain a of salt. That's how "i" came to be.

<CHAPTER 1>

2016 marks the fourth year I've been consciously walking the path of my spiritual journey since meeting my Spiritual Teacher, Master Sha in 2012.

The first time I "met" him was through the book "Power of Soul" in 2010.

Not long after, I"met" him again through the documentary film "Soul Masters" -- about his journey with his own Spiritual Teacher, Dr.& Master Zhi Chen Guo - an accomplished Chinese Medicine Doctor and Healer who founded the modality of Soul Mind Body Medicine.

Finally, in 2012, I met Master Sha in person at a healing retreat in Vancouver, Canada.

My life has never been the same since.

Master Sha taught me the evolution of our souls is also a journey of healing -- for ourselves, for everyone and for everything around of us through lifetime after lifetime of reincarnation.

He taught me that "Everyone and Everything has a Soul."

Think about it.

If "Everyone and Everything has a Soul" -- then we are all on our soul's journey of healing, as we continue our evolution to higher consciousness.

Master Sha teaches: "The purpose of life is to serve."

And if the purpose of life is to serve ours and everyone else's soul journeys....imagine how much healing is needed among us?

Raised in a Chinese Buddhist/Taoist tradition, I have always known this is not my first time on this plane.

Though I did not have much memory of my previous lifetimes like some people do.  Until now.

Looking back, I now see how my Heaven's team has groomed and prepared me for this journey to meet my Spiritual Teacher and Spiritual Father, Master Sha.

I went to a high school founded on Confucianist principles in 1906 by Chinese officials from the Qing Dynasty Government -- one of the oldest Chinese high schools in Malaysia.

Growing up, I've never had any intimate connection with Christianity but ended up going to one of the oldest Christian universities in Japan, the only one founded by Jesuits in 1913.

What I've found and continue to discover as Master Sha's student, is some of the most profound and deepest wisdom about healing and one's soul journey -- come from the integration of the teachings of leading spiritual teachers from the Buddhist, Taoist, Confucian and Christian traditions.

I feel deeply grateful and blessed to have the privilege to trace my roots and early education to these traditions.

Master Sha always stresses: he does not teach religion. He teaches new and ancient spiritual wisdom, and practical techniques to heal and transform all aspects of our lives.

Come walk with me on this journey through my humble musings from my soul gazing -- into the world within and without, where the metaphysical, the spiritual meet our physical existence on this plane.  

A journey where I continue to learn to live in Divine relationship with the highest potential within one's self -- as we serve others unconditionally.
